1/2 hour wait for food (just a chicken burger and onion rings) is a little much when you’re one of three tables, and one table already had food. Also not great when the third table came in 10 minutes after me and gets appetizers before I get my food. Visit Marathon every few weeks for work, disappointing experience

We waited 50 minutes for our food but it never came. The Winamp working at the register who took our order was very rude and never bothered checking on our order when we inquired. The guy working was nice and refunded our money. TERRIBLE SERVICE & hideous atmosphere. Go someplace else!!!

THE FOOD DIDN'T even come. The staff were lazy and they didn't check on us once. Two out of three of our party received their food, while the other one didn't. THEY HADN'T EVEN MADE IT. They do pub service when it's busy, but even why it is not busy, they still do pub service even though they claim they don't. DONT GO HERE

Would not recommend. We were from out of town. We drove 8 hours and hoped we could relax and get a beverage. It didn’t happen. Lets just say the security guard for the place was apparently working there when he shouldn’t have been. (According to him). They closed earlier than they were supposed to. No food no beverages just sad

Wow that easy a great burger! Both my husband and I had a burger and they were amazing. Onion rings and sweet potato buries too. Excellent. Give this place a shot. I took a star off because we had to get a menu from the bartender and then go back up and order our food. Kind of a grunge bar feel to it.
I waited over an hour for my hamburger and fries. When the food came, I had a lukewarm burger and half cooked fries that were sitting in grease. If my car was an oil burner, I could’ve topped off the engine oil. Granted, it’s basically self serve. You go to the bar and put your order in AND pay at that time. It’s a good thing they already had my money, otherwise I would’ve just left after a half hour. Worst service ever!! Don’t bother going in and save yourself the hassle

Really cool bar with a great atmosphere and cool bartenders.
It has cool chalkboard walls, pool tables, and darts.
The food is great, but the wait time kinda sucks. But it's understandable cus it's usually a 1 man army in the kitchen.

What can I say about this place!! The food is typical bar food. There is nothing special here. There is very few places to eat in Marathon and they could be so much more. It is pretty much self serve. You have to go to the bar to order your food and beer. The wait staff will bring your food to the table that's about all the service you get. It's the only bar in town though.
