Food was ready on time but,Vegtables were soggy and limp. The bon bon ribs were like rubber and the chicken balls were big but the chicken inside was the size of a dime. The fried rice and spring rolls were good. Not worth $68.00 take out!

It was like a taste from the past and the quality of each dish was exquisite. Portion sizes were amazing and quality of service was top notch. A great selection, fast service and a friendly smile means the world after a long day on the job and in need of comfort food. A repeat client guaranteed.

Phoned at 7:30 Sunday and was told they are closed for the rest of the night. Hours are not as advertised.

Recommended by our hotel, we went here hoping to dine in, but they weren't allowing dine in service, so it became take out. The food was well wrapped and was still hot after walking back to the hotel. I would have liked dine in service, as did the 6 other people who came after us. (Two separate groups). But knowing this, I'd call first to see if dining in was allowed. Plan ahead! But I'd definitely go back.

It is totally worth stopping in for dinner. The food is amazing! We had enough leftovers for a second night.

Worth the drive off the highway! Marathon is so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant. Full menu of proper Chinese dishes (not just chicken balls!) Huge portions. Everything delicious & fresh. Service was friendly but a bit slow as they’re super busy - but totally worth the wait!

Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The place was clean. Those are about the only good points. The sauces on the stir frys were gloppy and almost tasteless. (The sauce for the chicken with cashews was about the same look and flavor as the schezuan chicken.) The egg rolls were from some wholesale distributor. But the worst: the menu said the guy ding chicken contained cashews. It arrived with no cashews. When asked about it, the supervisor said "the menu is a misprint.". No apology. When we left, we overheard her chewing out the cook for omitting the cashews!! There isn't much in the way of restaurants in Marathon, but the four of us would recommend Pizza Hut instead.

Had takeout, was very soggy and chow mein had like 10-15 dried noodles served separately. Vegetables tasted like they had been sitting in sauce all day or that they were part of a freezer meal. Side of spring rolls was one (1) disappointing spring roll. They did include some decent fortune cookies though!

Large portions. Not the best I've had, but good.

Not much to choose from in Marathon. I read reviews before I went. I had a different experience. Staff was nice and service was quick. Prices are on par for a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the chicken balls (3), chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice. The chicken balls were heavily battered. The food was good. Not awful but not overly fantastic. Received lots of food.

We stopped into Marathon for a quick bite to eat. Forget ALL the fast food places and go here!! Excellent food, healthier and much quicker. House made spring rolls were excellent and very large. We had take out and took it down to enjoy at a picnic table the overlooked the harbour. Nothing like excellent food in a specatular setting and view of the bay. WoW!! It is a MUST stop anytime we go back. Delicious!

I would have given them a 5 if there wasn't so much sauce on the dish. I have never had so much sauce that I had to rescue the main dish. However, the food was good and there were just the right amount of meat to vegetables.
