Love everything about this place. Great fresh breads but also many other amazing items including donuts, cookies, samosas, empanadas (best ever) and Portuguese custard tarts. I always walk in and end up buying more than I planned to!
Absolutely blown away by the kindness and quality at Brilliant Bread Company in Markdale. I wandered in moments after they’d closed, and instead of turning me away, they welcomed me with the most delicious bowl of udon soup I’ve ever had—super flavourful,, and clearly made with care. A gem of a place, run by people who love what they do.
Very lovely staff! Amazing sourdough bread, and lots of variety of delicious prepared foods (the quiche is 11/10!).
Good bread. This isn't a place to come for coffee, there aren't any tables to sit down. Nothing wrong with that just don't come here expecting to be eating inside.
Haven't had any of the breads or pastries.
But I Loved the bento. Yes, there's authentic Japanese bentos and snacks made in-house. It's part of their (not so) secret menu.
Best bread around. Desserts are also excellent
The lady working the counter was so nice and the pastries were amazing!

So love the Brilliant Bread Products that we get from Sideroad Farm!! The Sandwich Buns that we picked up yesterday are already gone; they were perfect as hamburger buns! Super friendly service, amazing prices!My son and I got the Montreal smoked meat sandwich on their soughdough and it was absolutely delicious! We also got a pretzel and confetti square to share which were also to die for.We will definitely be coming back for more!Thank you! ?
