Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had! This restaurant has such a homey feel to it - like being in your Mom's kitchen. Friendly and welcoming service, too. It is one of my family's favourite places to eat at. If you're new to the area or passing through, it is well worth checking out.

I love french toast and Sidekicks Cafe has the best I've ever eaten. Make sure to order with whipped creme and fruit. A meat side ( ham is my choice ) goes very nicely with it. Good price and service also.

This place is amazing. I will go out of my way to come back again! They service was above and beyond including genuine and friendly conversation! They are also happy to point you in the direction of beautiful locations near by that are worth seeing.The food was divine. Best eggs benedict I've ever had, my sister has an delicious egg pizza and my friend the tasty French toast with real maple syrup. Take the time to read the variety of funny and inspirational quotes along their walls :) It's the 'Cheers' experience at a little diner. Worth the drive and we will be back!

Stopped off here today for a bite to go. Despite me not eating meat or dairy (which usually causes an attitude in out-of-city cafes staff), the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and the chef even came out to say hello! The place looked really clean, with a cute vibe and on top of that the food was delicious. The homefries had green onions in and my husband's grilled cheese came with coleslaw and homefries with good quality ingredients! A pleasant suprise for sure!

My wife and I loved this place so much we went back today, when we first went on Monday! The hospitality, the atmosphere, if you are heading to Owen Sound. Please make a stop here, you won't be disappointed! They close at 2 PM though so breakfast and lunch, or in our case brunches. I had the eggs Benedict first time and the breakfast pizza today and my wife had Bacon and cheese French toast sandwich, and Hawaiian omelette respectively, with a cinnamon roll to go on Monday! It was delicious, well made and love the green onion on top which makes it work so well with home fries! Last but not least is the owner J.D., what a great person to talk to and hear his stories and feeling right at home! I don't leave reviews often, but this one I felt compelled and excited to do!(Socially distanced tables, they have hand sanitizers and a sheet to fill in for contact tracing purpose too, so you don't need to worry. All the staff have a face mask on the whole time)!We will for sure return next time we are in-town!
