Jenny has an incredible selection of teas and knows how to make a great cuppa. She also makes great soup (love the carrot soup), and sandwiches too (big fan of the egg salad) as well as a selection of homemade treats. Her tea selection is fantastic, but if you prefer coffee or hot chocolate have no fear, she has that too. Local arts are featured in the tea shop as well. It's a nice place to escape, where you have a conversation, or sit quietly and be creative. There are a number of cool places in Markdale but this is by far my favorite place to hang out and drink fine tea.
