For the price of a turkey bacon club sandwich I would have expected more than 2 super thin pieces of turkey..disappointing to say the least

If you would sit in that Tim's on a long weekend you would see how hard the employees work. The rude city customers they deal with. Only thing, they should have bigger garbage boxes. The parking lot is filled with empty cups and bags.

I returned a chipped Tim Hortons Toronto coffe mug from another Tim Hortons franchise and learned the following:
1) Each Tim Hortons franchise decides what they can and want to refund.
2) If they don't carry the item they can ask you to return to the franchise where you purchased it originally (300 miles away)
3) They can ask the other franchise to send a store credit (gift card) to the customer by mail
The store manager of this franchise was kind enough to mail me a gift card by mail after trying to fix the issue with the other franchisee. She didn't need to do it and went out of her way.
I have worked eight years in retail and once brought a discontinued item from the Paris store to our London store. The customer couldn't believe I did this just for 20 pounds worth of goods.
Conclusion : customer service is the glue that keeps a customer attached to your brand regardless of the red tape you face in the back office. Make it happen. Make it count. Make it memorable.
I will now keep my Tim's app for many future purchases.

I hated having to go to Tim Horton's again - the only thing good about it is the friendly, hard-working staff. Terrible coffee, lame food!
