This was a very disappointing eating experience. A previous visit had been very positive so we invited another couple to join us. What an embarrassment. We arrived at 5:50 pm for a 6 pm reservation. We were quickly seated at our reserved table. The water that was brought was warm with a few small ice cubes that quickly melted. We placed our food orders which did not arrive until 7:40 pm, one hour and forty minutes after our arrival. In the interim we were visited a few times by servers to see if all was ok. Apparently the delays were caused by the kitchen being short staffed. When the food did arrive, three of the four plates were fine, but one, a hamburger steak, was burnt on the bottom. This was returned with an offer to replace. This was initially accepted, but shortly thereafter cancelled. After the long wait, followed by the burnt food, the person in our party had lost their appetite. We also saw other orders coming out, e.g. pizza, that looked burnt. It seems the short staffed kitchen had lost control on the timing of their food prep. I then ordered a decaf coffee. A pot of decaf coffee with about a cup remaining had been in full view since our arrival. Over two hours later, this is the coffee that was being brought to me. Who knows how long before it was sitting there. I refused the coffee. There was no offer to make a fresh pot. I then used the men's room before leaving....there was no toilet paper. The restaurant did waive the charges for the other two in our party due to the unsatisfactory food preparation, which was a nice gesture. The overall management of the restaurant left something to be desired. First, if they were short staffed in the kitchen, they should have restricted how many guests were to be seated at a time. Our reservation was made only a few hours before. We could have been advised the wait was going to be lengthy and let us make our own decision if we still wanted the reservation. Second, with the extra long wait, an offer for some appetizers on the house would have been a smart gesture as an apology for the long wait. We had no idea when the food was coming, only that it was coming soon. Third, if the food gets burned, it should not be acceptable to serve it to a patron. Fourth, coffee served should be fresh. There is a reason other establishments dispose of it after twenty minutes of sitting. As good as our first experience was, this second experience was surprisingly terrible. If my wife and I eat here again in the future, it will be on our own, without inviting other guests. We will, however, give it time so that the Martintown Restaurant gets the proper management in place and is adequately staffed and restricts the number of guests according to how many they can serve in a quality way and in reasonable time.

We have been there a couple times.
First time we ordered chicken wings and Caesar salad. The wings were very small, practically just bones. Next time we ordered pizza and zucchini sticks. Pizza was undercooked and pepperoni was very cheap and poor quality. Zucchini sticks soggy and greasy.
We called a couple times to place an order to pick up but they didn’t pick up the phone. We called at 7 pm, an hour before they close.
The owner is friendly but you have to offer good menu, quality and skills to cook to be a good restaurant. Far away so far.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Martintown Restaurant for their "Martintown Special" pizza🍕 So delicious with loads of flavor...and the crust...OMG!!! De-lish!!!!! Definitely our ONLY go to Restaurant for pizza. We also enjoy their breakfasts... 🥓&🥚 good portions for a very good price!!
Outstanding value, incredible service and prices! First time there and I've found my new home. Had the club sandwich but only got through half of it! I've never seen a club with that much meat! So basically got two meals out of it. Servers were all great as well.
See you again soon!

3 times pizza order was wrong . Mistakes happen but way too often . Offered to make it up but drive back. Long drive so not worth it. Just train your staff and get it right the first time. Done with them

Portions big, just slow food and not best service. But it is a small dinner. I would come again but maybe at a earlier time.
