Went to dine in late Nov., but they only have take out now, stating they can get enough employees to keep continue dine-in meals. I thought they may have new management or new owner. I was very disappointed and even though we enjoyed dinning there on a monthly basis, we aren't interested in take out meals as we come from out of Town. It's a shame that after all the renovation done on this place it will lose so many out of town business. Everyone I've spoken to about the changes were also upset with them. I'd hate to see this business go under. We left without ordering and went to Cornwall to eat.
This is the third time I travel from out of town to come here for breakfast to find the restaurant closed when the site said that it was open not coming back again
Poor customer service. Foods good but take out customer service sucks.
Excellent price, good size serving. Like a mom & pops restaurant.
Always good.

Chicken souvalki one stick was truthfully BAD! The chicken was dry and not much taste. Fries instead of Greek Potatoes were luke warm, the rice was bland and dry and the Greek Salad was not too Greek,,,,old iceberg lettuce and sweet dressing that didn;t do much to help the salad. Very disappointing......

Went to the restaurant with my grandparents last week. Not sure what we were expecting, but the fish and chips tasted awful- fish was overcooked and very salty, whereas the fries were undercooked and didn’t have any seasoning of any kind. We were seated next to the emergency exit and there were flies everywhere, definitely did not give a good first impression while we were trying to eat our meals
on the plus side, service was very friendly. The younger waitress forgot my grandfather’s drink order, but the other waitress was nice enough to bring it to us after I spoke to her about it
overall the service doesn’t make up for the food being bad, I wouldn’t want to come back and eat here again

So disappointed in my last visit. We have been before and loved it, but this time we waited 50 minutes for a club sandwich and a hot hamburger sandwich and when the food finally arrived it was all cold. Yes it was busy, but not that busy as only four more couples arrived after we did in the hour and a quarter or so that we were there. The club sandwich itself was only okay, nothing special, and my dining partner felt the same about his. If there had been anywhere else in town or nearby to go for lunch, we would have been out of there at about the half-hour point because that was ridiculous. At the cash, they offered to get us something else, but why would we do that? More cold, mediocre food was not what we were looking for.

We were returning to Gatineau after an errand that took us to Valleyfield. Looking at reviews of restaurants on the way, this restaurant stood out, and we adore diner type restaurants (though I'd qualify this as upper level diner to bistrot type (without the hefty price tag). Everything is made from scratch and you can taste that it is: very tasty! Quite big plates, so we shared an overfilled club sandwich, and ordered an appetizer (jalapeño poppers). For us in the future, it's a bit out of the way (75 minutes), but we will definitely make the trek, it was that good. We saw a few meals pass by us and the pizza looked glorious and the fish and chips looked amazing. The pricing has nothing to do with the overpriced restaurants in the Ottawa vicinity.
En revenant à Gatineau après une course à Valleyfield, nous avons cherché un restaurant bien coté sur notre chemin. Ce restaurant se démarquait. On a vu pourquoi. C'est délicieux, meilleur marché que dans la région d'Ottawa et tout est fait sur place, et on le goûte! C'est un peu loin pour nous, mais nous allons y retourner, c'est juste trop bon! À essayer!
