We live in Timmins and we met friends in Matheson for lunch on March 18, 2025. From the moment we entered this restaurant, the vibe was NOT good. The owner (person who served us) was anything but pleasant. She never smiled, she threw the placemats and cutlery on the table, and she was extremely rude. The food was adequate, however, the pricing was ridiculous. A combo plate was $23.95 for rice, egg roll and one other item. These prices are higher than big city prices. We all like to support our local businesses, but this business owner needs to up her game by providing friendly, welcoming service and good food for a good price. We will never recommend this restaurant, nor will we ever go again. In hindsight, I should have walked out!

Like the stuff in this restaurant, cheerful and caring! Foods are delicious in big serves. When we were leaving, the lady offered to give us free hot tea taken away, because it's very cold today so we can keep warm during our drive.
I definitely highly recommend this restaurant. Make the trip memorable and warm.

Great food and authentic experience of an wholesome passive aggressive Asian lady with a nice spin on wonton soup. Great broth. Odd mix to have wonton soup and a burger but it still delievered. She also wouldn't let me tip and I didn't want to piss her off so all in all a grand and unique dine in experience.
They must have put something in the food because this is probably one of the best tasting Westernized Chinese food places I've ever eaten at. The prices are a bit steep though ($22 for sesame chicken combo) The store itself is small, basic, and relatively dated.
