My in laws were visiting from morocco we were on a road trip and stopped in on a Friday everyone ordered the fish and chips they absolutely loved it. Thank you will definitely stop again next time we are passing through

We were on a road trip and I was sick of fast food. We stopped in here instead. The building itself is a bit run down, and the bathroom is a little rough, but don't let any of that fool you: this is a proper restaurant where they still know how to use real food to make you an actual meal. I had a cheeseburger, and the patti was homemade from scratch that very day - and you could tell. It was easily twice as good as a burger i paid twice as much for down in the city last week. My partner had the pizza, and that too left nothing to complain about. The dough was just right, the toppings were fresh, the sauce was tasty, and it was cooked the perfect amount - not too much, not too little. I can't remember the last time i had to drive through Mattawa, and i don't know when i'll do it again, but when i do i will be sure to stop back here. As the bumper sticker says, fastfood might be easier, but why not have a real meal instead?

Amazing breakfast...fermented ketchup unfortunately bottle are never put away and my toast was clearly old should not of bean served.but the real cherry on top was the disgusting bathroom reeks of old piss garbage and debris on the floor blood on the wall broken urinal and the bathroom stall was a single wall kitty cornered. Mind you this was 9am with no reason not to have a clean bathroom.

We were there at 5pm. Just our family and one other table was used. It's very sad that a restaurant doesn't have soup or dessert at 5pm. We were a group of 15. We were there celebrating my aunt and uncle 50th wedding anniversary. And while we were eating. My aunt was the last one served. And she got the special. An open face hot chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and vegetables. And it came with a side salad before we eat. Then my goodness the washroom needs surgery.

Worth a stop if you're going through Mattawa. Delicious food with very generous portions for what you're paying.
The food and service here is great. We've been here a few times and have enjoyed many of their dishes. The wait is slow for the food so plan for that. Also the bathroom is gross If they upgrade anything here first, it should be that.

Waited over an 1hr for sandwiches (4 BLTs, 1 Club House). There was no communication from staff about the delay, no apologies for the long wait. The limited communication with staff was pleasant. Watched some patrons' leave before getting their food due to the wait. Watched others come in and get their food fairly quick, eat, and leave before we got our food. The food was fine once we got it, just the wait was ridiculous with no communication, hence the 2 star for service and overall 3 star.
