Hands down the best poutine I’ve ever had! I’ve also tried just the fries on their own and they’re absolutely delicious. The chicken fingers are great too, crispy and tasty. The staff are super friendly, and the eating area is always clean and tidy. It’s also very family-friendly with a designated space for kids to eat and play. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere!

Great spot fries are top tier service is even better, but my 3 star rating is because of the price gouging on the chicken tenders, $8 for 4 twig sized chicken strips, my pinky finger is bigger than anyone of the strips i was served. Like i said tho fries are top tier so if rhats what ur craving and ur in mattawa thats the spot you want. Just dont order the chicken tenders. Unless ur rich and not very hungry.

I can say without a doubt, Turcotte's Chipstand has the BEST poutine and fries. Crispy fries, flavourful gravy, and real cheese curds!
So disappointed, decades of deliciousness down the drain. White fries, weird tasting oil, tasteless gravy, expensive for the small portion!

delicious food!! went out for something to eat while on a vacation up in mattawa and found their shack and wow!! She was so friendly and eager to serve. We waited not long for our food and there was plenty of business so i’d say it came pretty fast. She knew nearly everyone by name which tells me she’s a kind, respected and loving lady. and the food!!! oh my gosh i had to give a tip after tasting my food! it was so good and her service was warm! Thank you guys! keep up the great work
