Such a beautiful café, and we filled our bellies with homemade goodness!

We stopped for lunch…my husband had a delicious Potato•Herb Soup,
accompanied by a light and fluffy Dinner Roll. I enjoyed a Chicken California Sandwich (made with real chicken!) and a mouth•watering Slaw that I could not stop eating!

We selected the homemade iced tea, which is lightly sweetened, and a fabulous coffee by Madawaska Coffee Company.
I took home some Carrot Cake which I know I will enjoy after dinner tonight.

Breads are all house•made from scratch which elevates the entire culinary experience.

The service was astonishingly impeccable, from the time we arrived to the time that we left.

We will be frequent patrons!

Me and my wife came here while exploring algonquin Park. The food was to die for especially the baked goods wow and the customer service top notch by far. You will not be disappointed at all 😊

Sun Run Cafe in the beautiful town of Maynooth is an absolute gem! This small, cute cafe serves up mouthwatering, made-from-scratch bakery items and unique pastries that will have you coming back for more. Every single dish we tried was spot on, bursting with flavor and that comforting homemade feel.

Now, call me crazy, but I actually drove 3.5 hours (over 200 km!) just to taste the food again this year after discovering it last year. And guess what? It was just as fresh, authentic, and delicious as before! The consistency and quality are beyond impressive—no misses, just pure perfection.

I’ve decided to make this an annual ritual because, honestly, it’s that good. Sun Run Cafe is well worth the drive!

Enjoyed the Korean Chicken Sandwich and slaw. Liked the vibe. Only disappointment was that tea and coffee weee served in paper cups. China would have been nice. But definitely would return.

YUM. Excellent goodies and sandwiches. Great, friendly staff. A great place for breakfast or lunch, and I hear their "pop-tarts" are to die for (none left when we were there).

Fantastic Little café. Best sausage, egg breakfast sandwich I've pretty much ever had. Wonderful pastries as well(mixed Berry scones, sticky maple, pecan buns, cinnamon rolls, etc.)
