I’m new to Meaford, and was looking forward to trying this cute breakfast place downtown. It was the worst breakfast I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The tomatoes were hard, potatoes hard, no flavour in the hollandaise sauce, so much water from the poached eggs there was water running onto the plate and causing soggy bread. With the culinary options in this region this place was grossly underwhelming.

Had the breakfast brunch platter . Home made sausage rounds were amazing. Enough food for two hungry men and a little one. Good atmosphere. Toys and crayons for kids. New breakfast spot for when I’m visiting the old man.

This place was good; not great. The food was good and the portions were big. The place reminded me of those great local coffee shop. The coffee was really good.

Haven't been here for 5 years and I must say the menu was a little disappointing. Not a huge selection like I remember, but the food I had was amazing! Its a great little breakfast joint. I'll definitely come here again??

My husband brought me here for my birthday breakfast. We drove from Collingwood. We waited for 20min to be seated with no one else in line and empty tables. 2 groups came in and sat themselves and they kept saying to us we will be with you in a minute. They sat us at a dirty table and said they will clean it asap. A third group came in and got seated while we were still waiting. My husband went up to the counter twice and asked do we order at the counter?? The 3 tables that came in after us got their coffees juices orders placed and we were still sitting at a dirty table. 35 minutes went by. We got up and left. I was really sad. We had to then to drive to Thornbury to finally get a breakfast. Happy Birthday to me ??This was in August and we had heard such great things and wanted to explore Medford for the day. I hear the food is great but never got served so didn’t get a chance to try it.

We were a party of four looking for a bite to eat before enjoying the beauty of Meaford. We waited over an hour for food and saw people who had ordered after us, receive theirs first. After bringing us our coffees and taking our orders, our waitress didn’t stop at our table again for the hour we waited. I had to walk to the main desk area to request more coffee. When I got up to ask the waitress how much longer the wait may be, she said: ‘I don’t know. The kitchen is backed up, so no clue’.At that point, we were ready to pay for our coffees and leave but all of a sudden our food was miraculously ‘going to be out any second’.When it was brought, the food was cold and average. To avoid service fees, it’s also mandatory to pay cash.

Wasn't really impressed. Is a cash only restaurant, very limited menu, staff still learning the cash register, slow service, ordered a juice and when it arrived had floaters in it like it had been opened for too long. Home fries tasted like they had been re-heated. Must say though that she knows how to cook really good scrambled eggs. A table of 6 or 8 came in after we were seated and was extremely loud for such a small space but were not asked to lower voices for other customers in restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Not very good choices for gluten free options

We gave them a heads up that 16 were coming for breakfast. The staff were friendly and efficient we were all served promptly and our breakfasts were tasty. They other customers seemed to get their meals quickly as well. Great job.
