We recently visited Violets on Main, a small and cozy bakery in Merrickville. The bread and sweets are absolutely delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming! 🍞🍰
We stopped by during Art Walk Merrickville, when artists were set up on the bakery’s terrace. It was wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee, soak in the atmosphere, and take home some fresh bread. A perfect spot for breakfast or a little break while strolling through town! ☕💛

We had a Blueberry scone and a Rhubarb apple turnover - both great flavours with lots of fruit. Friendly, cheerful staff. The cheddar loaf is coming back with us for lunch/dinner if it escapes being eaten in the car on the way home.

We always enjoy stopping by this bakery. My hunny recently picked up some bread and a couple of dish cloths, and today the staff kindly offered us a little treat—it was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our day.
