The good and the not as good. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, a dark roast coffee and blueberry muffin. The pumpkin spice latte was very weak and tasted watered down. The dark roast coffee was also too weak and more like a medium roast. However, the blueberry muffin was the best blueberry muffin I ever had. It exploded with blueberry flavour.

We love this little cafe and always enjoy the coffee and food. It so nice to have a local spot with quality coffee and homemade food! If you get a chance, try their carrot cake, it's the best I've had! There is always such a warm, welcoming atmosphere also! Great place!!

My husband and I were up in Merrickville to go to the record store and stopped in for a coffee before going home. We got some lovely cinnamon rolls that were absolutely delicious and 2 cups of coffee… Nothing was stale or bitter just delicious and the folks that were working there were Kind and had A good sense of humor. I always enjoy stopping in. Keep it up. You’re doing it right

Awesome little coffee and sandwich stop in Merrickville! The tomato and basil soup and BLT were amazing! Our dog also got some treats on their outdoor patio! Would definitely recommend The Village Bean Coffee House when visiting Merrickville.

Very countryish, with baked goods and good coffee. We had a filling sausage breakfast wrap that they warmed up for us. There was seating both inside and outside.

a small independent coffee shop in a great location we didn't eat, but coffee, tea and latte were all good.

Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. It tasted more like hot water with milk than an actual coffee, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it. That said, the atmosphere and pastries make it a nice spot for a quick treat.

A gem of a coffee shop. The atmosphere is genuine and warm. It was so nice to find a non-franchise place on my bike trip for a nice warm coffee and a hearty breakfast.

The person we spoke to was amazing. Even right before closing, he took the time out to speak with us and provide us suggestions on where we could go in the town as we were just passing. He even offered us coffee on the house and refused to even take a tip. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely visit again.
