Everyone was super friendly, and the Pizza is truly awesome 👌 They were kind enough to make a modified version of their mushroom pizza for us: tomato sauce, mushrooms, cheese and garlic chunks. ❤️❤️❤️😋 Delish!

Let’s start with I have been going here for years. We used to order 1-2 times a week. One night after working late I order a pizza the same pizza I always order. I went picked it up and went home about 30 minutes away. I got home opened the pizza up, it was not the pizza I ordered. I called them they did ask if I wanted to come back to get the right pizza made. I said no as it was a half hour drive to go back to Metcalfe, around trip would have been 1 hour to get back home to eat. So the lady on the phone said she understood and would find someone that could help find a solution for the problem. The next lady gets on the phone ask what the problem is. I let her know that they gave me the wrong pizza. She indicated to me that she always repeats the order on the phone and gets the customer to agree. She then asked me if she repeated the order I said yes and I confirmed that I wanted a Hawaiian pizza lightly well done. This is not the pizza I received and brought home. She indicated to me that they had not gotten an order for Hawaiian pizza for Several hours. I said to her, this is what I ordered. This is what you confirmed to me and I ended up bringing home What look like to me at the time was a cheese pizza? (But it was Pepperoni) We have never ordered anything different from Metcalfe pizza besides Hawaiian pizza. She then indicated to me that there was nothing they were able to do because she confirmed on the phone my order. I said yes, you confirmed a Hawaiian And this is not what I received. She indicated again there was nothing that she could do. So I asked her are you telling me, You will not do anything at all because you got my order wrong. She said there was absolutely no way she got the order wrong because she repeated it. I asked her if she thought I was lying about what I had ordered as I ordered the same thing every time we order. She said that’s not what she was saying, but she got the order right. All I was looking for was for them to even say sorry we got your order wrong. We will give you a complimentary pizza next time you come in or even a half-price pizza. My husband did eat the pepperoni pizza so it would be at least fair to half price I would think. In the multiple years, we have been coming here. I have never been treated so poorly for customer service. If I would have driven the hour to go to, and from to pick up another pizza that night, they would’ve given me what I actually ordered. Because I was unwilling to drive that night, they were not willing to do anything for me. This will be the absolute last time we ever order from Metcalfe pizza. There is a big difference between a Hawaiian pizza and a pepperoni pizza. I ordered the same thing over and over again I know I did not make a mistake. I actually really thought because of all the customer service and how friendly the service has been they definitely would have fixed their mistake.

Had Cowboy special last night - literally my favourite. Always delish! The family who runs it from the front of house to the kitchen have always been amazing, remembering birthdays and asking you about family! So welcoming, will continue to be our weekly family treat

I have been going to Metcalfe pizza for years and it’s always my top pizza place to order from! Friendly, family run business that always treats me like a member of the family every time I go in. You can tell all the ingredients are made in house and are always fresh and tasty. A staple of Metcalfe for many years and you can see why. Best pizza (and food!) hands down and we will always return.
We used to live around the corner and it was a weekly treat for us, once the cook change not the same pizza, we got pizza a few times but not very satisfied, try and hard crust but last night was it for us, we woke up sick and vomiting, never again. Too bad. $68.00 for 2 medium.
Best pizza in ottawa hands down.
