“From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The menu offered a range of tempting dishes, but it was the appetizers that truly set the bar high. We started with the Baked Brie and Calamari—an absolutely awesome. The Brie was perfectly melted, rich, and creamy, wrapped in a golden pastry . The calamari was lightly battered and crisp, with just the right touch of seasoning—tender, not rubbery, and served with a a lovely dill dip that elevated the dish. But the star of the evening was the lamb. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning brought out the natural richness of the meat, and it was plated beautifully with sides that complemented every bite. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a place that nails both the small plates and the main course, this one is a must-visit.”

“Very disappointed with our recent visit to the arch. Loved it 3 years ago when the food was something to rave about and the the service was great. We reserved a table for 12 for supper and were immediately met with attitude at the door because we had small children (which made no fuss at all our whole service surprisingly enough), we were ignored and the lady who was waiting on us was quite rude. She rushed us into ordering and we could barely even get 1 refill of water - when we asked for refills we got an attitude in return, meanwhile watching other tables get 6 or 7 visits within a 10 minute time span. The food was alright this time around but nothing to rave about. It was quite annoying to us that there were 3 servers standing around doing nothing while we couldn’t seem to get anyone to come over to our table for simple refills. Felt like complete and utter out casts and like we didn’t fit the typical “mould” of people who normally eat there. The only time she was quick about anything was when we asked for 2 go boxes and the bill. Sure was on that one like a shot! Unsure wether we will be back or not at this point. Not a pleasant experience this time around.”

“I love this place, everytime. But this time, something wonderful happened. My father, who loves old movies, saw pictures on their wall of Time Travel, movies from the 60s. He was determined to ask for one. I begged him not to. Determined, he asked, and with no hesitation, the waitress, with permission from the owner, obliged. My father, who suffers from dementia, was so elated. He even got the waitress to sign it.

“Minjis was EXCELLENT. Midland lacks any sort of diversity when it comes to world cuisine. Minjis didn’t disappoint. It was very obvious that the food was freshly made. Ingredients were fresh, food was hot and fried items were not soggy like most delivered Asian cuisine is. We tried the Korean ramen, DakGangJeong, the spring rolls and yam tempura. The spring rolls, were “ok”, but everything else was 10/10. Will be ordering again. :)”

“Originally made reservations for outside dining. it was quite windy with a chance of showers, even though there are large umbrellas; we asked if we could be seated inside. Thankfully there was room to accommodate our change. Thank you. There were four adults dinning and all of our meals were excellent and tasty! We ordered; steak, salmon, pasta and a burger. All cooked perfectly! Our server was great and did not rush us to order nor to move after we had been there two hrs. I highly recommend The Boathouse Eatery. See you again! Cheers 🥂”
