Normally online for deals you can’t customize anything but with picky eaters I have to do half and half. So I place my order and call them and they always make it work out for me. Ex. Supreme lovers. I always ask for mushrooms on half. And they always make it happen.”

“Our friend celebrated a milestone birthday this evening at The Arch. We are so pleased that she enjoyed her first visit to this long established restaurant. Diego , our server for the evening was very friendly , attentive and obviously enjoys conversing with customers . The food was deliciously fresh and beautifully presented. The Arch has always been the restaurant of choice for “ special occasions “ for decades and will continue . Thank you for a lovely meal and great conversation .”

“I just ordered the fish burger at Jay's Diner ... it was delicious! Nice big piece of fish; not greasy at all (I'm not a huge fan of fried food) and the restaurant was bright and clean. Two thumbs up to Jay!!”

“Stopped in at lunch time. We go to stacked all the time elsewhere and it's always good food. Today ordered the grilled chicken ceaser wrap for a change. Honestly wasn't impressed. The bacon was really, really salty and the chicken fingers in it were greasy. Maybe change your bacon and fingers or use chicken breast, couldn't finish it. Service was great though.”

Don't forget about the spreads and spices.

They use Reneés Caesar, if you don't know, now you know ( insert word I can't say ).

“I love this place, everytime. But this time, something wonderful happened. My father, who loves old movies, saw pictures on their wall of Time Travel, movies from the 60s. He was determined to ask for one. I begged him not to. Determined, he asked, and with no hesitation, the waitress, with permission from the owner, obliged. My father, who suffers from dementia, was so elated. He even got the waitress to sign it.

“The last commenter about the owner must be totally fabricated out of jealousy. The owner is the sweetest lady ever and constantly goes out of her way for the community and her customers. Everything ive teied there is excellent and delicious. I would highly recommend if you value your meals out.”

“Was looking for coffee on a recent visit to Midland and stopped here not expecting to be so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the espresso, the helpful and knowledgeable service and incredible selection of chocolates and treats made in-house. We decided to try the soft serve ice cream as well which was also delicious. What a gem of a place!”

“That cake! Scored an Amazing cake on pure luck from this bakery and it was delicious! Have also picked up other treats (chocolate raspberry bars are a favourite!) and breads here. Everything made from scratch and with amazing flavour!”

“Minjis was EXCELLENT. Midland lacks any sort of diversity when it comes to world cuisine. Minjis didn’t disappoint. It was very obvious that the food was freshly made. Ingredients were fresh, food was hot and fried items were not soggy like most delivered Asian cuisine is. We tried the Korean ramen, DakGangJeong, the spring rolls and yam tempura. The spring rolls, were “ok”, but everything else was 10/10. Will be ordering again. :)”

“A great place by the water. Depending on the season it may get busy but that is expected. Cozy if you sit on the side with no bar. "No rush" pleasant service no matter if you're there for a beer or full dinner. We have been there twice now and both times the service, the atmosphere and the food were amazing.”

We started with the Baked Brie and Calamari—an absolutely awesome. The Brie was perfectly melted, rich, and creamy, wrapped in a golden pastry . The calamari was lightly battered and crisp, with just the right touch of seasoning—tender, not rubbery, and served with a a lovely dill dip that elevated the dish. But the star of the evening was the lamb. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The seasoning brought out the natural richness of the meat, and it was plated beautifully with sides that complemented every bite. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a place that nails both the small plates and the main course, this one is a must-visit.”
