I have visited this coffee shop a few times in the past month. I find the staff to be very impatient when taking orders. The manager doesn't communicate well with the employees which creates a negative vibe. The last time I was there I sat inside to drink my coffee and eat the cookie that I purchased. I was shocked to see a mouse scurry across the floor under the counter. I left my coffee and most of my cookie on the table, never to return. I think people should be aware of my experience to prevent any illness from occurring.

Management could use an upgrade, or perhaps a class or two on how to be inclusive and kind to other people. Employees are not treated well and that’s quite prominent. Do better.

From the people to the quality and love that is put into ethical coffee, this is one place that brings me peace of heart mind and soul. Highly suggest if you are looking for more of a comfort local vibe for your next beverage or snack rather than a modern feeling cold corporate fast food experience. Just being honest. Not to mention that if you love the sun, the sun rise there is quite beautiful and comforting. Many blessings.

Ground Coffee Co. is 💯 worth the chilly fall walk from the marina, for a warm apple scone and hot coffee! The view of the water is the perfect way to start a Saturday or Sunday morning. They have a variety of hot and cold drink options, plus seasonal favourites (pumpkin spice or apple cider 🍁). The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The only fact to be mindful of is that they do not have customer access to washrooms.
