Honey tahini bar was great. They carry Mundays Bay local honey. However echoing hollow acoustics from a high ceiling exacerbate the sound quality and I found it quite noisy for a coffee shop.

Great coffee. Lovely local lively vibe. Only critique- wish they let you fix your own coffee with cream/milk etc. I always find places like this don’t put enough creamer in the coffee and then it feels like an inconvenience/ hassle to ask the servers for more. Please consider putting a station up and let patrons fix their own. Cuts down on having to bug busy staff and many ppl like fixing their own drinks just so!

A place my wife.and I frequent together for a coffee date. We love relaxing in the cozy warmth of the sun splashed window seats.The coffee, baked goods, and attentive, friendly counter service is always great!We also love the retail offerings from local farms, suppliers, and businesses. It truly shows their community support.As a vegan, I'm happy they have a few selections that I can enjoy. I only wish they would offer new ones from time to time, or on rotation.NOTE: They offer all the alternate dairy choices, but they do now upcharge for Oat Milk (for some reason), but no charge for Soy or Almond.

I actually love the coffee and baked goods here and have come to grab treats on and off for many years. Today, for the first time in the midst of the snow storm I had hoped to sit here much longer. However, I was informed by the management that I have to leave and they have an "informal" rule of only ~1 hour mostly because they do not want people to make this their virtual office. Unfortunately this was quite jarring because unlike other coffee shops there is no signage to warn paying well meaning customers and the coffee shop only had two other people sitting there at the time. As someone who doesn't look like most people around here I have been previously asked to leave from places based on the idea that I'm somehow not a paying customer or taking advantage of the business and when there is no signage or forewarning to prepare for the fact that when you're stuck in a remote spot that there is a time limit for enjoying the seating here -it is difficult to know the reason why I was being targeted. I was super disappointed as my husband and I both love the coffee and goodies here and have actually sent many people their way before. Any how, I no longer feel welcomed after this experience.

I absolutely love it here. Midland wouldn't be the same without Grounded Coffee Co. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, there are lots of house-made goodies to choose from, and you get to watch the bakers and coffee roasters make magic happen right infront of your eyes. The staff are incredibly friendly and sweet, and make you feel like a part of something special. The coffee is great, the espresso is exquisite, and I'm sipping on a delicious smoothie while writing this. They have fresh veggies, honey and maple syrup from local vendors, and you can enjoy the art of local artists while your barista skillfully crafts your drink. I feel good when I walk in the door, and I feel good leaving knowing I support a local business who supports local business. I can't stress this enough: do yourself a favour and visit Grounded Coffee Co.
