13 of us went to the play the other night. Stopped in at the Boathouse for dinner. It was very very good. It's expensive eating out these days, so good food for your dollar is important. Highly recommend the Boathouse. Thank you Kirk for your kindness in a dessert for all of us. So kind. We will be back

I recently dined at the Boathouse with a group of 13 friends spanning all ages, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Our group ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied with their meal. Several people in our group required gluten-free options, and we were pleased to find multiple gluten-free dishes on the menu—all of which were extremely good. The desserts were absolutely fabulous!

We were disappointed as the 2 young children had to wait longer than most of us for our food and most of us were almost finished our meal before the last adult got her pasta dish !!

Very loud with kids yelling and doing somersaults on the bench at table. Service was slow. Our dessert went to wrong table and we had to wait another length of time. We should have cancelled our order after the mistake because we didn't have time to eat it. The least they could have done was “not have charged us “ If left a bad impression and not sure if we will go back,

We held a group event for 20 people in their upstairs private room with our own server. The service was excellent. The food was great. We had a few children in the mix, and they made sure crayons and colouring papers were available. All in all a complete five star review.

Food was terrible. Fish & chips had no flavour, coleslaw smelled nasty, the oktoberfest sausage was good but the bun was stale. The drinks and brushetta were good. Chicken Fettucini was flavourful, but didn't have enough sauce. A bit dry. Didn't complain because we just wanted to get out of there. The menu has definitely changed but not for the better. So many meals were removed from the menu. I do have to say the women's washroom was spotless. We will not be back.

A great place by the water. Depending on the season it may get busy but that is expected. Cozy if you sit on the side with no bar. "No rush" pleasant service no matter if you're there for a beer or full dinner. We have been there twice now and both times the service, the atmosphere and the food were amazing.
