So glad we stopped here! The Halibut burger is everything I hoped it would be. Certified ? ! There looks like a lot of good menu options but the fish seems to be the go to. Stop in and get a hali and chips!!?

We've visited Sandy's 2 times now and enjoyed it each time. Classic roadside food. We've tried the burgers, fries, poutine and pogos. All were delicious! Freshly made food and quick service combined with some riverside seating means we'll be stopping in next time we're in the area.Kid-friendliness: There's a playground and washrooms right next to the restaurant.Parking: Lots of space

We went for an early lunch and was the first order of the day. The burgers a big tasty and juicy, good size portions for sides as well. Definitely coming back for dessert when we find room!

Food was okay, I got the mozza sticks 4 for $8 which I thought was expensive and I couldn’t believe I only got 4 I asked if it was a mistake

I was driving past and thought I would try Sandy’s for a take out dinner.The bacon cheeseburger with the works (minus the onions) was AMAZING!!! One of the best burgers ive ever had! The fries were delicious as well. It’s over a hour from my home…but the next time I’m out that way I’m definitely stopping in!!!

Take a pass, before pandemic stopped for fish and chips on a Thursday, got it home bottom of box fell open due to grease and the chips 2” long limp garbage. I know how to fry food, the fryer wasn’t hot enough, if it was there wouldn’t be any grease and chips crispy. Looked like lunch leftovers but place only had one customer eating a burger. Could eat my food to greasy. They brag 25 yrs serving fish and chips. Stay away from this dump. Order bagged so I couldn’t see it and price $16.95, wuke

Great place to stop on the way to MacGregor Point. Had the Buffalo chicken wrap, wife had the whistle dog, daughter Har the grilled chicken sandwich. All were awesome. Great spot to stop as well. Lots of tables. Definite recommend.

this family owned restaurant is THE place to go. we drive from Kitchener on rainy days to get CHEESEBALLS and icecream and lots of yummy YUMMY food. the owners and all staff we've met are SO nice and friendly. highly recommended!!!!

My friend and I were in Walkerton and wanted something for supper restaurants there were closing at 4 pm not enough time I checked my Google maps and after a few suggestions I said there is a place in Mildmay she said Yes Sandy's I was there a year ago and it's fantastic she was not wrong I had the farmers sausage and after when we were offered pie I normally have not this time my large appetite was full my dinner was $14 for that much good food I would have easily been charged $18 in some other places very good food and good service and 2nd to non prices
