Before eating here be aware of the rating of High risk from Public Health. I visited here for the first time recently and it was a horrible experience. From a server who just walked away with my food, to being served room temperature food (not kept at a proper temperature). For both myself and my guest, we both received room temperature potatoes that were hard and dry, like they had been sitting out on a counter for a long time. I asked for fresh fries to replace my mashed potatoes, and was presented with room temperature fries. My guest received her same potatoes back, at the same temperature, despite being told they were fresh from the steam table. She knew they were the same potatoes from the fork marks she left when testing the temperature. Her turkey was hard and dried out, as was her dressing.My second attempt at fresh fries I was served re heated fries that had sat out for who knows how long.The server was very rude and just walked away from the table.We did speak to the manager, and discussed the issue but was told the food sat under a heat lamp too long. If that was the case the plate and the food would have been hot and dried out, not room temperature. And she insisted the mashed potatoes my guest received the second time were from the hot steam table, but had no explanation as to how they couldn't have happened due to the fork marks.Just be aware there have been repeated critical infractions during Public Health inspections and they have deemed this restaurant to be high risk.The inspection reports are public and can be looked up online.

The food is out of this world. Staff is so friendly and quick with service. Prices are more than fair.
This is my new favourite restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was awesome. My husband and I both had the broasted chicken meal and it came with tons of food. We ended up having to take home the leftovers. We stopped in the bakery and got some pies to bring home for family. The ladies working here were all super friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back again very soon! :)

The chicken was AMAZING!!! easily the best I've ever had. But leave room for dessert. It's equally as much an attraction as the chicken. Definitely pop by and try the chicken and dessert.

After hearing nothing but good things about Anna Mae's, we decided to stop in and try it.The lineup for the restaurant was literally out the door and outside. We decided to try the bakery instead.We purchased two pies. One chocolate and one pumpkin. This is the second night and I'm sitting here eating a piece as I write this.Both pies are phenomenal. These are easily the best pies I've ever had. Definitely not "store" tasting. The crust is light and flaky and filling is so full of flavour!We will definitely be back to try their dinner. A bonus is that the location is only minutes out of our way when we head into Kitchener for shopping.I should mention my wife and I also had a fresh apple fritter. I normally don't like fritters, but this was delicious.Stop in here for some dessert. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious, excellent service ... turnips were amazing, portions for the chicken was INSANE HUGE and dessert was an amazing touch ...... for an amazing price!!!! We will be back!!!!

Lovely atmosphere and different variety of food. We specifically enjoyed the broasted chicken! the buns that come with your meals also make it so great. The desserts are also wonderful, definitely recommend.
