Attended for dinner and drink with a group of four. Our meals came before our appetizer. We sent the onion rings back because they were a pile of burned batter- no onion. I ordered a Brie burger which was so disappointing. The bun tasted like it was freezer burned, the meat and Brie were tasteless. It had shredded lettuce and a deep fried onion ring on it. Not sure who make Brie burgers like that. Our server was good but the food was disappointing.
I had the pleasure to enjoy a wonderful birthday party night at the Appalachian Pub and Eatery in Georgetown while dancing on the live music by the Rock and roll band The Accidental Martyrs. While the Appalachian name was hard to read from the outside when you enter the strip mall-it would help if the name was lit up-, the place felt very welcoming the moment you step in. The server, Erin, was truly attentive to all requests and made the whole evening such a breeze. The typical bar food was plenty and tasteful and the atmosphere was very special. I did not expect to dance, but they made space for a dance and dancing we did. The whole group was pleasantly surprised by this pub and Iâll definitely consider organizing another event at this pub.

Had the lunch special, which was $7 for 7 pieces of wings. Usually they come with carrots and celery sticks, but was informed not with this special. I used to own a food business, and when you offer a lunch special, you donât reduce the menu. Seems a bit cheap to me. The veggies and carrots most likely wonât break the bank, but sure put a sour taste in my mouth.
