I have absolutely loved my visit to this lounge. The staff is super friendly and the food was awesome!! The drinks were also amazing, the bartender was amazing with figuring out everyone’s drink of choice since some of us were indecisive lol. But I very highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice evening out.

We ordered for the first time tonight and wow we are extremely disappointed. My husband picked up and said the music was extremely loud and hard to speak with the employee. We ordered 6 tacos and got an extra 3 free from ordering from Uber eats and a side of churros. Thank goodness we got the extra 3 cuz they are TINY! I barely ate because my husband could eat the whole thing as an appetizer! We do not recommend if you are older than 25 and if you don’t want to spend your paycheque on only a few bites.

I am utterly frustrated with my experience at Boveda Lounge. Their refusal to serve tap water and insistence on selling bottled water feels like a blatant attempt to force customers to spend more. It’s outrageous! On top of that, they didn’t have basic drinks like cosmopolitans available, and even their signature cocktails were unavailable. The lack of transparency about the automatic gratuity charge during payment was the final straw. This establishment needs to seriously reconsider its practices if it wants to retain any semblance of customer loyalty. Consider yourself warned before stepping foot in this place!

Ridiculously overpriced. Firstly we asked for water while we looked at the menu. They brought us bottled water. Restaurants are obligated to provide free tap or chilled water in glasses. Serving plastic bottles is gross and horrible for the environment. It was clearly just a way for them to pad the bill. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 orders of tacos. The drinks were watered down and underwhelming. The tacos were tiny and tasteless. All that for almost $80 is obscene.

First time visit, I have to say great staff. Wonderful service. Arianna and one other girl whose name I didn't get were great! Tofiq was very attentive as well! Great experience. Big thank you to the staff for making a great birthday experience for me :)
To be clear, we’ve had an excellent experience in the past. The new menu is exciting and the 5 starters and 4 mains were very nice. Lovely presentation, delightful flavour combinations, well cooked and satisfying. But then there’s mine, the 5th meal: Arctic Char. First strike was that my meal didn’t come. The manager (?) whispered in my ear that the Chef apologizes (I assume for forgetting my order) and that my fish will be out right away. It arrived and the first few bites were delicious. Very impressed with the sides and the filet was- huge. But I soon realized it was uncooked in the middle- raw like sushi. The same staff member quickly whisked it away. What now seems like too long (everyone else was nearly finished) a whole new plate arrived. This time the fish was cooked perfectly, but the new portion of Char was much smaller. The server cheerfully suggested she would keep sending it back until it was perfectly to my satisfaction. She meant well, I’m sure. After the mains were cleared away, 3 selections of free dessert arrived, with an emphasis that this was meant to make up for the fish. Too bad I’m not a dessert person but good for the family member who was celebrating a birthday. The final disappointment was that nobody liked or ate 2 of the 3 desserts. In the end, the Char was taken off the bill. Good save. Other than that, the severer was mediocre for a high end establishment, our table was right in front of the open kitchen: hot, smoky and loud (we asked to move, but couldn’t). The piano was a nice idea but could not distract from the kitchen- at least for our table. Will I be back? Someday, because I know they can do better. I’ll know to request a table away from the kitchen, a certain server (Joey) and hopefully they’ll have the Char perfected by then.
