Cafe Zauq Takeout & Catering

Today we went to Cafe Zauq at 5:00pm and the food we received was incredibly disappointing. We bought the Chicken Tikka today which was cold and stale, and we also bought the Malai Boti. When tried it, we found that it was smelly, uncooked, stale, and cold. We also once bought chicken noodles before today, and they barely gave us any chicken piece in it. The food has been repeatedly disappointing, and we will not be buying from Cafe Zauq ever again. This is Malai Boti has to be a health hazard and our money was wasted. You can see in the photos that the inside of the chicken is pink and uncooked, and the smell was unbearable and raw.

Zauk, this is disappointing. We placed our order 24 hours in advance for a reason, and it’s still not ready on time. This isn’t acceptable — please get it together and ensure orders are prepared as promised going forward.

Ordered through Uber eats, the site says chicken tikka comes with naan but no naan was sent even though I put reminder in notes. Do better!

I’m writing to share my disappointment with the catering service provided by Zauq on Eid Day, June 6, 2025. Unfortunately, both the quantity and quality of the food were well below expectations.
The Seekh Kababs, in particular, were extremely disappointing — poorly shaped and lacking taste. I reached out multiple times and even shared pictures clearly showing the poor presentation and condition of the food. Despite this, I did not receive any response or follow-up from their team.
I had hoped for a better experience, especially on such an important occasion. Sadly, the lack of quality and customer service was very disheartening.

They change the puri size and its size is like very
small like a kachori better to not get the halwa puri combo now from this place. Pathetic.

If they say 15 minutes it actually means half an hour… be prepared

Good chicken biryani with balanced spices and more than usual masala .. wish would had potato also to make it real Karachi Biryani .. only down side is they only used leg and thigh as meat.

We hosted two major wedding events with food delivery from Zauq Catering Services. For the Mehndi, we chose the Live BBQ option, and it was absolutely fantastic, the barbecue items were the highlight of the evening and loved by all our guests. The chef and serving staff did an excellent job. For the larger event with around 300 guests, the food was just as impressive. The Nihari was delicious, and the Biryani received many compliments. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the service, food quality, and professionalism of Jaspreet and Badar.
