This place was recommended to a friend and when they told me where it was located I was skeptical. A good Caribbean restaurant in the lobby of a Best Western? How can this be? Well, I'm glad a gave this a try.

Came in for dinner and the place was moderately busy. Walking in, I saw the food that was on other people's table and the smell assured me that this place probably lives up to it's high rating.

I had the Oxtail with Rice and Peas. The oxtail portion was very good. Sometimes you get oxtail and it's all bones, but this one had tons of meat and fat. It was cooked very well. The meat was seasoned perfectly and was falling off the bone. The gravy was dark with full beef flavour which of course goes well with the rice and peas. My friend had the Jerk Chicken and said it was like the ones they've had in Jamaica. I'm not really a fan of jerk chicken as the spice combination, for whatever reason, doesn't sit well on my palette. I had a taste and the meat was soft and juicy. I would say it's better than most jerk i've tried in Canada.

The service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy with an old school flair. I will return to try other items on the menu.

Some of the best jerk chicken you will ever have. Lovely atmosphere as well. I will tell all my people in Detroit to visit this restaurant if they are in the area.

We are visiting from Michigan and were looking for a bite to eat. Decided to try this spot and it was AMAZING. Service was wonderful, the food was excellent, talked about it the whole way back to our air bnb. The chef even came and spoke to us. Trying to figure out how to get more tomorrow if we have time!!! Ordered the Jerk Chicken (must order when you come), Oxtails, Snapper, Rasta pasta!!! You’ll love it all ❤️❤️❤️

I celebrated a milestone birthday here and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were second to none and the food was amazing. Courtney and team exceeded expectations of all who attended. I am looking forward to eating at Journeys again very soon.

Food was very good. I tried the jerk chicken and my husband the curry goat. It was very tasty! Price and portions were reasonable. Server was amazing. We will definitely return!

It was good but not 5 stars good. It took them 20 min after ordering to tell me my preferred dish wasn't available even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Rice was a bit dry/clumpy. Price a bit high for the value of the food. Otherwise was good

Went to this lovely restaurant and it was a vibe. Food was great, service was great. The only down fall was the food took a long time. Too long to be honest. When it came it didn’t disappoint.

We used Journeys for my graduation party this weekend and we're so glad we did! Everyone loved the food and there was more than enough! Thank you for all you did to make my day special. The awesome watermelon carving was the icing on the cake!

A true gem in Milton. The food is always great with something for everyone. I usually get the Oxtail.but the pastas and Salmon is delicious.

Well I will say I was blown away by the service journey’s cuisine provided for my grandmother 75th bday party. Excellent food was catered for the party, jerk chicken , salmon, pasta all food taste amazing and authentic. The jerk chicken was definitely like I was back home definitely cooked in a drum. Staff was friendly even the dessert was great sweet potato pudding , black cake and more A++++ definitely when in area agian I will stop for some authentic Jamaican food

Went there for the first time last week and had an amazing experience. We received really great service and the best dinner we have ever had, largest piece of salmon I had ever seen.
