After being a regular customer and always buying expensive cakes and baked items and spending almost 1000.00 on catered food for my sons communion in the past I realize they simply don’t know anything about customer service.It’s always complete chaos during holiday hours and they can’t even control the customers at their food and bakery counters. They don’t even have a number system and the young servers don’t know which customer is next and serve them out of turn constantly.A customer was served before me recently while I was waiting for one of the regular older worker to set up a cupcake box and the cupcakes I wanted got taken by someone else who was served at the same time even though they had just pushed their way up to the counter. So I had to choose other ones. None were left for the day.She checked the back but none were left for the day.I did say thanks for checking and I pointed out I was waiting patiently until the cupcakes were taken by someone that just walked up and wasn’t in the queue. All she said was a loud Sorry !! As I walked away.Atrocious behaviour from what I think is someone who is affiliated to their company.It’s a shame this happens and that nothing changes there. I’ll simply go somewhere else.There are other bakeries that certainly trump this one hands down.

The food is good. However many baked goods have no prices posted: croissants, vienna baguette, etc. Additionally the buns and the bagels are pre-packed in plastic bags. Covid is over and this is perhaps the only bakery I've been too that still does not allow their customers to pack their own baked goods.

Drove a long distance to get here only tp find out they had hardly anything they claim to have. Their baked goods shelf was practically empty of breads. Nothing in the meals section. Nearly impossible to get any customer service. Never coming here again.

I can't say enough about this spot! I've been traveling to La Rose almost weekly for the past 15 years!I find myself making excuses to travel to Milton to grab a meal from the hot table or catch up with the friendly and inviting staff over an espresso. My 2.5yr old son LOVES the fresh penne rose!Top notch!

Great little place to grab very delicious baked goods. We routinely get Portuguese tarts, and assorted desserts and macarons. They have a great selection of aged oils, chili and truffle oils - a superb gift for those who don't drink.
