$20 for what i received...mixed response....fish was alright tasting except the quantity i received....the chips filled in the gap. 2 packs of tartar he charges you a buck for extra packets/each and I also received no ketchup! when paying I like using credit he dosen't have that ..just debt and cash ,asked why...he responded charges to much ....I'm pretty sure Ive been to smaller businesses then this and they even had credit to pay with.

Don't let that classic, east coast fish house restaurant fool you. This is a tasty and affordable fish n chips shop. Everything is made fresh, hand battered to order. And in today's high cost of living, it's nice to get a fish and chips meal at a reasonable price.
Going here reminds me of the fish shops in Nova Scotia.

If you’re looking for a local fish and chips place after Heritage Fish and Chips closed down, look to this place.
There’s only one gentleman working there but he was very nice and efficient. I recommend the lunch special which is available until 3pm (Haddock and chips only)
Despite there being no sit-down table service, it’s still a great place for takeout and convenient.The fish is lightly battered (which is an issue in many other fish and chips places) and then is golden fried to perfection. Furthermore, the batter is very flavourful and the fish is very moist and not dry at all. It’s perfect.
The chips are also unsalted which is not a problem because they offer salt and vinegar or just use whatever you have at home.
This will be our new fish and chips place from now and we’ll be happily coming back.

I usually go to Heritage fish N chips, but since they are closed now, I needed my fix. Found this place on google, gave it a try. They only have 2 fish to select from, halibut and haddock. Personally I'm a fan of cod, but none the less, I got the halibut with poutine. The fish was really good. Another knock on this place is that there isn't a place to sit and eat, and eating the fish fresh is half the enjoyment.
But overall, 8/10.

Quite a disappointment, the restaurant seems to have changed owners and it shows . It has become a takeout only place with the fixings - no freshly made tartar sauce, packaged condiments and takeaway bags ! Fish as well as chips are below mediocre .

The halibut was fantastic! The breading was nice and crispy and not oily, and the fish was cooked well and nicely portioned. Definitely will go again.
