A nice night out. Great fun watching & betting on the horses. Good seating, good service and food. We requested a visit to the Paddock/Stables last minute and they accommodated us. Very nice for them to arrange. We will be back.
Just like every other time we have been there the food is very underwhelming. We ordered a appetizer and it came warm at best with twice cooked greasy kettle chips. Then we ordered a salad and it was decent not a home run but not bad ,and then the mains. She ordered a pasta dish that was again not hot and looked like it was a kids portion, I ordered a mildy warm brisket sandwich and an order of McCain potato wedges apparently ???? Now the potato wedges were hot, the only thing that was a good temperature but of course they forgot the gravy that came 10 minutes later when the potatoes were cold, par for the course. They will respond again and say how much the feedback matters to them and fill everyone with empty promises. The reality is they havent changed a thing about quality control in years and I am done giving them 10 to 15 chances. Its too bad , we like the place and it has potential if they actually gave a s.....t !!!
The food was mediocre and definitely not hot, it was barely even warm. Cold foods were cold , but hot was NOT hot.
We went for a special event buffet which was ridiculously overpriced at $110/person. It was honestly the worst buffet food that we have ever had. The meat was dry, the sides were cold and bland. The desserts tasted nice but were dry. The selection was very limited as well. We had a server who tried hard but was obviously very inexperienced. It was $500 total for 3 people all in and such a huge disappointment.
Limited food menu - I expected a greater selection. Servings were on the small side. Don't understand why people with no reservations can get seated prior to those with reservations. Requested a table by the window but didn't get one even though there was a table available. Was surprised we couldn't hear the announcer when the horses were running - took away some of the fun.
Fantastic service. Meg, the manager was awesome and the waitstaff was on point. The food was overpriced. Flavours were lacking and temperature was an issue....cold food.
We really enjoyed our time at the Racetrack, the food was good and our server Jenny was amazing would highly recommend.
Food was very good. Nice portion sizes as well. Fun watching the races while eating. What made the night special was our server Jenny. So pleasant, so energetic, so attentive to our needs, so knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Jenny made our evening!!!
We had a great meal there May 16th. The food was amazing. Jen was great to. Watch the races, and had a good time, what more can be said.
Very limited menu; Missed the good old days with one of the best prime rib buffet in town.

We made reservations two weeks in advance for a birthday dinner. Requested a specific area to sit in. When we arrived we were told that they overbooked for that area so we had to sit somewhere else. The table they gave us was great. The hostess was fabulous. Our service was ok. We had to constantly flag our server down to order. The atmosphere is amazing. The racing was amazing! Highly recommend!!
Three of us went to dine, followed by fun at the track and casino. We had fish and chips, onion rings, and brisket polboys. Service from Tara was fantastic. The food was very good, and the portions were large. I would eat here again.
We've been regular visitors to Mohawk for quite some time and have always appreciated the lively entertainment and clean environment. It's a place we've often chosen for a fun night out. However, during our most recent visits, we've noticed a disappointing drop in service quality. The staff seem lost, not skilled and less attentive than before. Food choices have become quite limited, and unfortunately, the quality doesn't meet expectations anymore. While the drinks are decent and the coffee is still very good, the overall dining experience just isn't what it used to be. No regular water pitchers available or offered. Another issue is the layout — the tables are squeezed so close together that guests constantly bump into each other's chairs, which makes for an uncomfortable setting. What's also concerning is the absence of visible management; no one seems to be around to greet guests or address any concerns. The fish and chips were unfortunately far too oily and heavily breaded, to the point that we couldn't enjoy them. The coleslaw was made with very tough, hard pieces of cabbage that were almost impossible to chew. I really wish the chef had tasted the dish before serving it—some quality control could have made a big difference. We truly hope to see some improvements soon, as we've always liked this place and would love to keep coming back.
We took our grandsons for a night out for dinner and to watch the races. The food was meh. We ordered hamburgers and fries a poutine and the chickpea and basmati rice. The fries are not fries they are large wedges so you got between 6 and 8 pieces. Sp the poutine was disappointing. The burgers were good, the chickpea dinner was bland had very little spices. Our server Tara was amazing 👏 best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time. Our table was in a great spot . Would I visit again 🤔 yes .
I really enjoy Harvest Kitchen. Service was great. Fast. And friendly. Chick Pea Masala with chicken is the best.
