The service was extraordinary and our server Blair went above and beyond for us! The food was delicious and well priced for what you get and the races were so much fun as always!
On line Menu is dated. New Menu has nice options, but our food was.awful and the table behind us sent 2 entrees back
Our table location was great with perfect view of track. Our server Blair, kept up with quick, knowledgeable and friendly service however our enjoyment was disrupted when a family of loud obnoxious 3 adults and 6 unruly children were seated beside us, we were going to leave but decided to move tables away from them and continued to enjoy horse betting Despite that we all enjoyed our night and look forward to another dinner in the future
Tried the buffett last evening Thursday.. although the food is very tasty luke warm to cool food is a turnoff for me

Second visit to the holiday buffet. Love the horse races. Same buffet spread except the first time had more appealing desserts (tarts, squares and assortment of nuts etc).
Very nice atmosphere, well decorated for the holidays. Server was excellent and made sure our experience was great. Desert selection could have been better but overall food was good. Price point a bit on the high side. Overall was a fun family night out to finish our holidays.
Went for Italian Buffet Friday evening. Service was excellent. Food was average. Salad bar choices were not very good, wished there were regular salad bar toppings for the salad like tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, etc... 4 options of main course choices. Spaghetti was good but could have made it better myself, lasagna was good, chicken was not good, and fish was okay. Dessert rum balls were delicious but disappointed in promised tiramisu which was not even recognizable as tiramisu and I couldn't eat it. Cannoli was good. Overall I was happy with the experience as my 12 year old was free so $67 plus tip for me and my daughter for a different experience and an all you can eat buffet was not a bad deal.
I find it difficult to believe anyone could enjoy the food at harvest kitchen at Mohawk. We have been there 20 plus times in the past couple of years and only once it was good, not great only good. The vast majority of the time the service is good but the food is sub par and almost every time it has been warm to cold. I have had chicken that was as cold in the center as an iced drink. I accepted the first couple of times that it was garbage but then I complained, they tried to make it right but nothing had changed. If it wasn't for my love of racing and the great view we would never go. It is a good place to have a drink, bet and watch the races but the food is low value and unacceptable. This opinion isn't isolated to me, I have sent many people there for the racing experience and unfortunately they ordered food. I can truthfully say out of the 50 plus that I sent, only 2 thought it was good. They changed some menu items but the quality is still poor. Some people must have an ulterior motive for posting some of these response's, they must have some skin in the game.

We enjoyed the experience at Mohawk. Only thing we had an issue with is the quantity of the food. We found a lot of food ran out early from buffet and was not replenished. Otherwise the experience was great and enjoyed the winter wonderland too at Mohawk with the kids
I'm super disappointed in our table placement. I had asked for a table by the window to be able to see. I know that “everything is done to accommodate requests but they are not guaranteed”, I fully understand because I have worked in the industry. But not only was NOTHING done, the table that we were sat at had a pole in front of it blocking a portion of the track. This was supposed to be a festive date night out that turned into a huge disappointment. When I consider what I paid for the experience, I certainly wouldn't be making any recommendations to go there again.

Buffet Food was cold and dry. Not worth the money. Too bad because the buffet at Mohawk used to be so great. Was very disappointed this time.
I was really disappointed with this buffet experience. For starters, the fact that you have to prepay just to reserve a spot is honestly ridiculous. At $60 per person, I expected a much higher-quality meal, but it definitely wasn't worth the cost. Despite the Italian theme, the buffet leaned heavily on carbs with very limited protein options—pretty much just cod or chicken. The desserts were also not fresh, which was another letdown. Overall, the experience did not live up to the price or the hype. I wouldn't return and certainly wouldn't recommend the buffet in its current state.
Italian buffet was fine with good selection however not sure it was worth the 60/pp plus plus. Had to prepay when booked through OpenTable but they had no clue and billed us again. Need to coordinate that a little better. Not real busy for Friday night so not sure if that is the buffet or people not interested in the racing.
When we booked our group of 11, we were not told of a special holiday menu (turkey and ham themed). Reservation was for Nov 8th. $69.99 for a very limited selection of food that was cold. The service was only ok. We had to let them know to remove dirty plates as they were too busy socializing with each other.
We also dealt with a mouse that was on the section closest to the front. We let them know as we were the second table seated. Instead of getting maintenance like they said they just filled the section with more people and left the rest of the sections empty.
We did catch the mouse with a small plate of cheesecake and released it outside.
For the value of the food and the limited selection of it. It was not worth the money.
Another note, the casino put on a buffet for $10. I did not go in but I would guess the selection was better and the food was hot.
Automatic tip was added 20% per bill on groups 8 or more. I undersstand this practice if your ordering off the menu. But on a buffet, I do not agree with it.

Don’t usually post negative reviews but don’t want anyone else to experience what my group of 10 did last Saturday. Service was sub par at best, we were clearing up our own tables and server was pretty much absence throughout the 3.5 hours we were there. Waited over 90 minutes for our food which was absolutely disgusting. If we hadn’t been so hangry we wouldn’t have eaten any of it. This was to be a birthday celebration for 2 in our party so the overall experience was very disappointing. Don’t recommend anyone to waste your time and money going there.
