From start to finish, our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The moment we walked in, even though it was a very busy night, everything still felt smooth, welcoming, and well-organized. The food was incredible, full of flavor and perfectly prepared and we truly enjoyed every single bite.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Diane, was absolutely amazing. She was warm, attentive, and handled the busy atmosphere with such professionalism and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and it made the whole evening even more enjoyable. Diane deserves all the credit for making our visit extra special. We will definitely be coming back!

Nothing shy of excellent, service was impeccable, place was immaculate and ofcourse the food was exquisite. Something to be said about when you walk in a dining room and all you see are smiling faces either talking, drinking or eating and enjoying to moment.

I chose Pasqualino to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday because of all the hype surrounding the restaurant and I truly wanted it to be a special evening. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the start.

When we arrived, we stood waiting at the door for someone to greet us. The server who finally came had no smile, no warmth, and no welcoming attitude at all. She looked frustrated and gave us no sense of hospitality, which already set a negative tone for the evening.

We ordered the calamari to start, and it was actually very good, tender and flavorful, easily one of the highlights of the night. I also ordered the pineapple daiquiri, which was extremely disappointing. It tasted like plain pineapple juice with no trace of alcohol and was overpriced for the quality.

For our mains, we both ordered the 12 oz Angus steak at about $80 each, and asked for them to be cooked medium. When the steaks arrived, they were cold and clearly overcooked. My boyfriend struggled to even cut through his, and when I mentioned mine seemed overcooked on the outside, the server offered to take them back. She said the kitchen would redo them, but when the steaks returned they were completely rare. As shown in the photo, the meat was raw in the center and nowhere near medium. At this point, we were both so tired and disappointed that we barely touched our plates.

The server noticed we had not eaten and offered dessert on the house. While I appreciated the gesture, her attitude was strange and off-putting. She told me, “If you don’t want a dessert, that’s on you, but we are offering it for free,” which felt dismissive rather than genuine. I chose the tiramisu, which was good and light.

In the end, the bill came to over $200 for a meal where only the calamari and dessert met expectations. The lack of hospitality, the poor execution of the steaks, the disappointing cocktail, and the unwelcoming energy of the service staff made this an experience I cannot recommend. For a restaurant with this kind of reputation and pricing, I expected far better.

The picture is me cooking the leftovers of my steak at home.

The food is average but the price doesn't match the quallity you get changed for.

The tiramisu doesn't taste like tiramisu at all, you can't even find a hint of espresso or the proper cookie inside.

The service and environment are the highlights.

I have always loved Pasquelinos and will say they have the best mushroom truffle risotto I’ve ever had and maybe my favourite caesar salad and an amazing antipasto platter. The servers are always so lovely and Sam specifically made our lunch very enjoyable! My risotto unfortunately wasn’t on the menu, so I ordered the carbonara. It was very heavy and greasy, and IMO the bucatini pasta was not a great pasta for this dish already being so heavy. They should stick to a smaller/thinner noodle like spaghetti. I could have overlooked the choice of pasta if the dish tasted good, but the guanciale pieces were massive, there were too many and they not rendered so half raw. Again, fixable if cooked through, less of the meat and smaller pieces but it was inedible almost. My boyfriend ordered a pizza as well and it was undercooked and soggy and they added olive oil on top which added to the “sog”. I hope they fix these issues as it was always my fave restaurant in Milton and this has made us wonder if things are going downhill. For the price point especially, I expect the food to be excellent

Quite a disappointing experience for what was meant to be a special night out. I made a reservation noting it was our first anniversary, but upon arrival there was no front-of-house host to greet us. After a wait, a man eventually approached and asked if it was a table for two; when I mentioned the reservation, there was no acknowledgement of it.

Our server did not engage beyond taking our order—no effort to inquire about the occasion or even basic conversation. While the kale & arugula salad and the fried risotto were good and arrived promptly, the positives ended there. Our mains (roast chicken and lamb) took a long time to come out, and when they did, both were overly salty, with the lamb overcooked.

Overall, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming—unless you are a regular or personally know the staff, you don’t get the warmth and attentiveness you’d expect for a highly reviewed spot downtown, especially for a special evening.

Surely a hidden gem in the heart of Milton downtown.
Food, cozy ambiance, happy vibes, smiling faces and on top of that true little italian experience. 5 stars for the service from Gabriel ... he is amazing and attentive to specific requests and details.

No direct halal options available but you can always go for sea food or pastas or pizzas.
