Came n for dinner and stayed for the show. Dinner was delicious! Both.my wife and I really enjoyed our meals. We ended up staying to watch the band that was preforming at night and they rocked the roof off! Will definitely be coming back.

This review is regarding the lack of respect we experienced yesterday for our group of 8 people, and I am replying to the owner’s response to Eddy.
Jo Anne, your response is full of false claims. We were calm and respectful the entire time, simply pointing out that a table for 6 with two extra chairs is unacceptable for a confirmed reservation of 8 made days in advance.
Instead of fixing your mistake or offering a solution, your staff told us, “If you’re not comfortable, you can leave.” Then, after we mentioned we’d leave a review, we were told the owner wanted us out. That’s what actually happened.
It’s shocking that instead of taking responsibility, you chose to invent a story about us yelling at minors.
With all due respect, the owner’s job is to solve problems and treat paying customers with respect, not punish them for refusing to be crammed at a table for 6 when we had a confirmed reservation for 8.

I honestly never write reviews, but what happened deserves to be shared. We had a reservation for 8 people, confirmed 4 days in advance. When we arrived, the staff gave us a table for 6, saying they would just add two chairs to make it “for 8.” It was so tight we could barely move completely unacceptable for a place that takes reservations.
I spoke politely with the waitress, explaining that it doesn’t make sense, and asked her to find another table. Her answer? “That’s all we have. If you’re not comfortable, you can leave.” Seriously? After booking days before?
I told her that this isn’t professional and that I would leave a bad review, and instead of trying to make things right, 20 minutes later she came back saying the OWNER wants us to leave the restaurant!
Just because we said we’d write a review!
This is beyond disrespectful. Instead of apologizing or finding a solution, they chose to kick us out. That says everything about how they treat customers.
Terrible attitude, zero hospitality, and absolutely no respect. I’ve been to many restaurants, but this one is by far the worst experience ever. Never going back and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely loved my experience at The Eighth Note Local Eatery in Milton! The food was incredible — every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality and creativity with their menu.
The vibe was just perfect — cozy, modern, and welcoming with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, lunch, or dinner, it’s the kind of place that feels both relaxed and special at the same time.
Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Milton — amazing food, great service, and such a cool local spot!

Came in the other day for the first time and was served by JP, he was so attentive, ensured all our needs were met, and so fun and easy to talk too. Thank JP for making my first experience here one to remember. I will be returning and asking for you!

EDIT: Jo Anne, the owner contacted me to discuss my review and I can say it’s clear she cares seriously about the patrons who visit her restaurant. She was very grateful for the review and feedback and did everything she could do to make it right. No excuses, just that it would be right. Much appreciated. I don’t think I’ve ever been compelled to write a review in both manners. With praise and and formerly constructive criticism. They have done right by me. I’m happy. We all have off days, believe me. It just happened to be the perfect storm that day I guess. You’ve made my day Thank you and we will be back time and time again. Appreciate it Jo Anne
Original post: So we have been here plenty of times. It’s about 50/50 to get good service. Tonight was , well, in line with a bd experience. long wait for water, had to ask multiple ppl for that. Food was horrible(wings for me and usually really good as it’s usually one of my fav places for wings) my daughter (who is 7y/o) ordered a hamburger on kids menu- which at a glance was huge and looked really good. No complaint there, but it was disgusting. She didn’t like it. Don’t blame her after I tried it, it had an awful over seasoned flavour and kind of sour. I tried it when we got home as we took the left overs, so now I see why.
Then , my daughter asked if she can have desert, I said sure. Why not indulge a little. It’s our special time together. She asked the waitress. Well then this was crappy. Waitress then says , well , “the kitchen is busy, so you can get desert elsewhere, ice cream place is across the street”. Man I can’t believe I even tipped her. Will have to consider if we ever go back. I’ve been here at least 10 times , may be my last.

I like visiting this local place. Their food is pretty good and at times, they have live music from the local bands which are pretty enjoyable.

Went here with the Wife on Monday for $5 rail happy hour and boardgame night. It was so fun! They have a good variety of games including tumbling tower (jenga), miltonopoly, and trouble. It wasn't busy, so it was nice and quiet for us , which was amazing. We didn't try any food, but the menu looked good.
