Today, we enjoyed afternoon tea to celebrate our daughter's birthday with our son-in-law. It is our daughter's favourite tea room and it was our first time here. The outside of the tea room was unassuming but inside the decor was done extremely well. Upon entering, we were welcomed warmly by the owner who was gracious and genuine. She was very attentive and explained each of the tea selections/food courses well. The tea and food were delicious!
Thank you for a wonderful experience and we plan on returning again.

This was my first time experiencing a high tea brunch and didn’t know what to expect. I have to say that I will definitely attend again. Teresa was warm and inviting and takes pride behind her Tea establishment. Her baked goods are just amazing. All homemade as well.
Dietary restrictions: Teresa has various gluten free options and the gluten free pasties were delish!

I had the pleasure of visiting The Escarpment Tea Room on August 4, 2024, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was wonderfully inviting and homey. The shop itself is charming, creating a cozy backdrop for an afternoon tea experience.
Our host, Teresa, was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. She took the time to explain the various teas available and the assortment of goodies on our tray. Her attention to detail was evident, especially when she made sure that everything for my daughter, who is Celiac, that her tray was gluten-free. It was clear that Teresa genuinely cares about her guests' needs.
The mini finger sandwiches were delicious; I could have easily devoured an entire tray of them. As someone who typically isn’t a fan of sweets, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the baked goods. Teresa's homemade treats were so delightful that I found myself wanting more. Everything was so fresh.
It’s evident that Teresa puts a lot of thought and effort into her creations, making everything from scratch. This dedication to quality and service is what makes The Escarpment Tea Room stand out. It’s a wonderful place with top-notch service, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

No longer enjoyable under new management. I had enjoyed tea here on occasion with the previous owner Edwina. She was delightful in the away she served tea. The new management is rude with a disingenuous smirk that made me feel unwelcome. One scone per person is absurd for an afternoon tea. And a snarky “no” when we asked for a second is unacceptable. I’ve never in my life left an afternoon tea still feeling hungry. We won’t return. The owner should try visiting the UK to see how a casual country afternoon tea is done properly.

Family took me here for my Birthday today. From the outside I was a little skeptical, but don’t judge the book by the cover! Inside I felt I was stepping into a typical countryside English tea house. Limited seating, I would recommend reservations. Tea selection was wonderful, china/dishes very cute, atmosphere comfortable and friendly, high tea sandwiches/pastries were exquisite. The service, by the owner, was impeccable. A hidden gem that I will be visiting again, highly recommended.

I recently enjoyed high tea at the Milton Escarpment Tea Room with my husband, daughters and son-in-law. We had a lovely time. The tea was wonderful, my personal favorite is the Buckingham blend. We loved all the delicious savory bites, as they provide a perfect balance to the yummy sweets.
Everything was delicious and Teresa was an amazing host and server.

Went for Mother’s Day and found the food and atmosphere to be fabulous. Would definitely go again.Downside is that it is far from being accessible. There are at least 6 steep steps up to front door.Had to pull my elderly parent up the steps. She barely made it.Service started well but ended very poorly. We were ignored after dessert was brought out even though we were asked to ask for more cream and jam for the scones if needed. We had to get up go flag owner down
