I love the food here. They have amazing french fries that compliment any sandwich they make. I have been going here for 15 years!

Great little place for lunch, had the gumbo soup and glammy grilled cheese with pea meal and tomato on it and thoroughly enjoyed!

It's getting pricey for comfort food but still great quality food coming out of the kitchen.

Great food. The exterior makes it looks like an upscale coffee place but it is simple good food and simpler coffee.
There is an EV charger in the parking lot!!!

I considered going here to eat, and checked out the reviews. This signage is instantly off-putting. Employers who whine “nOboDy WaNtS tO wOrK aNyMoRe” are not the kind of people who respect their employees. They are the kind of employers who feel they are entitled to underpaid labor. They won’t see a dime from us as a result of this behavior. (Business owner: do not bother to respond, I will not read it.)

We were in town filming with a crew and ordered from here. The owner was lovely and helpful and the food was amazing! The crew really loved the Greek salad and wraps.

OK I really dislike to leave a negative review. Food is good however when I went there last week. The front door was wide open maybe to avoid AC costs not sure why it is hot outside. The main problem i could count the flies all around when ordering. They were in the lettuce, tomatoes, etc behind the counter and on top of other toppings. I was going to order the Ceasar salad then was like no way. I had a great sandwich food is good. You have to understand cannot let flies in place and I mean there was a lot even when eating going on my plate buzzing in my face. Now they are in prep area and back areas. I felt like I probably ate there droppings somewherei n the process. Close the damn door and purge them. I will come back, if I see it again one star. If it is fly free and cleaned up will rate it up to five star. Common sense here close the doors!

After a serene visit to Kelso Lavender Farms, I decided to stop by The Trail Eatery in Campbelle, just a short drive away. This quaint and charming spot was the perfect way to cap off a lovely day. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home the moment I walked in.

The menu offered a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences. Everything was reasonably priced, providing excellent value for the quality of food served. I opted for the Greek Omelette which surprisingly came with a choice of soup which turned out to be a delicious and hearty meal that exceeded my expectations. The portions were generous, and the presentation was delightful, with fresh ingredients that clearly stood out.

In addition to the main courses, The Trail Eatery also offers a selection of homemade desserts that are simply irresistible. (Maybe next time- the meal was so filling- there was no room!)

The overall experience at The Trail Eatery was exceptional. The warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with the excellent food and reasonable prices, makes it a must-visit if you're in the area. Whether you're visiting Kelso Lavender Farms or just passing through Campbelle, The Trail Eatery is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy great food, and soak in the charm of this lovely town. Highly recommended!
