I usually get the vegetable teriyaki. It’s a good value for the money and the food tastes so good. I usually eat my teriyaki and rice with hot sauce. They have really good quality ingredients in their food. That’s why they are always so busy.

I should have left a review years ago! I have been ordering from Yamato Japan since 2009 (approximately). I moved away from Milton right before the pandemic and was worried that they may have closed down. But when I returned for a visit a few years later, I was delighted that the lovely couple were still there! (I apologize, I do not know their names. But they both recognize me and always ask how my mother is doing. Very sweet!)
The Teriyaki Chicken is the most popular dish but I also love the beef and shrimp. The teriyaki sauce is incredible. I have been unable to find another. I prefer sweet flavours in general and this is the only teriyaki sauce I have had that is just sweet enough. The kind man will also provide another scoop of the sauce if asked.
Located in the Milton Mall, I recommend anyone in the area looking for a delicious meal to head over and give it a try!

I sent my wife here to pick up food because I hadn’t eaten all day! I was so stoked when I read the reviews and was looking forward to stir-FRIED noodles with teriyaki sauce.
DISGUSTING 🤢
Not only are the noodles soggy and wet, they are the furthest thing away from being fried! I asked my wife to get extra meat and the meat portion seems the same, to top it all off the meat is dry and blend with two pieces of mushrooms.
God awful! Makes me think that the people who dine here never had good food or have no taste buds! What a disappointment! Will not recommend and not return, the noodles were a huge let down with weird texture and flavour.
I had to get food from elsewhere!

I've known him here at the Milton mall for 20 years and he makes the best tasting beef and chicken teriyaki better than edo and. Cheaper and. Bigger portions, best ever.
Food was really good, however I am still not 100% certain if the chicken is really Halal here. Seems like a trend, all the three restaurants in Milton mall all have a similar halal sign but none of them have halal certificate. I asked the owner where they purchase their halal chicken from, and he said some name and said it was from Scarborough but I had no luck finding the place online. Maybe I misspelled the name of the meat provider.If any Muslim goes there next time, please do try to verify their source for halal meats.The chicken definitely tasted really good, like halal chicken ?
