Excellent food! I had a burger and fries, and both were great. The fries were perfect!
They had very friendly service.

Thank you for your welcome!!
The pancakes are delicious and so generous!!!
Stay away! The staff has no clue what service means. Disregard to customer request. Poor attitude, lack of manners and rudeness. We didn’t even stay to order anything and simply walked out. There were plenty of other options.

Was closed supposedly due to a staff shortage but also closed for labor day and "for sale" signs in the windoes
Very bad behavior. we went there and we were looking for help to get a seat. a lady came and directly told " What are you doing here guys? I am not gonna serve food to you". We felt really bad. she was serving people who came after us but didn't bother to help us.
Will not recommend this place.

If you’re visiting the island, Mum’s Apple fritters are a must-have. We tried the fritters, cinnamon buns, and strawberry danish. All three are great, but the fritters are the standout best, with large chunks of apple (with skin!) and enough sugar to put you in a coma. By far the best fritters we’ve ever had. Anywhere.

This was not very clean. All the baking seemed like it had been there for a while.

I visited for some desserts to go and was impressed with the buttertarts without raisins. Why would anybody want to ruin a delicious butter tart by adding raisins?. I'm happy with this place and would shop here again. Friendly staff.

People say the apple fritters are the best you will ever have, and I think that’s an understatement! They were freshly baked and still warm, were huge, and were some sort of fritter/apple pie combo with big chunks of apple and lots of cinnamon goo. Just outstanding. Note that they aren’t usually baked and available until 8-8:30am though

Get here before the place is sold/closed! We were 2 for lunch. I had the toasted Western and soup and my wife had the 2-egg Manitoulin breakfast. Both were excellent. The Western came on their thick-slice toasted whole wheat. The pastries are too good to pass up. Recommended.

Food is always amazing at Mum's. And the bakery is unbelievable. We've been coming here every summer for years and love it. I felt really bad for the employee's today though, and give them credit for their self-control because there were some super rude people in there when we were. I'm looking at you tartar sauce duo sitting in front of us. Learn the words "please and thank you." My children have better manners than you.

So disappointed. Came all the way from Sudbury for a Manitoulin breakfast, and mums is not like it used to be at all. It was known for its large portion sizes and good prices, but the prices have more than doubled and the portion sizes have halved. Our waitress seemed annoyed we were even there, and very impatient. Usually we would have gotten some baked goods to go home with but after dropping 180$ on breakfast there was no way. I will not be making the trip again, as it's not in any way worth it. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the cook made perfect eggs. Otherwise, not a great experience.
