If you are looking for tasty food in Coboconk check out Dockside. Don’t let its rustic atmosphere and diner vibe intimidate you as the food more than makes up for it. Classic food, fair portion sizes and great service. What more can you ask for?
We stopped here for snacks and coffee on the way to Balsam Lake Provincial Park, recently. There aren’t many restaurant options in Coboconk, and this diner on a side street in the centre of town seemed attractive enough. It is not easy to find, as one enters from the rear of the building. The food and service were good. Although nothing really struck us as exceptional, we will drop in again if we happen to be in the area.
Hidden gem. Beef Hoagie is delicious as was their cauliflower soup. Their homemade apple pie with Kawartha Dairy ice cream was the best Ive tasted in years. Wow. Zoe provided top notch service. Peaceful on their back deck with a view of the river. Back again soon!
