This place is an absolute gem. The wedge salad with the confit duck leg was absolutely perfect- the flavours completely complementary and everything if the highest quality, the duck confit leg was 5*. The lamb “starter” with the goat cheese terrine was delicious as well. My partner got a burger and the poutine, both excellent as well. The poutine gravy is very interesting- the mustard flavour again is very complimentary, showing the chef’s creativity. Love;y wait staff with a positive attitude. The portions are crazy big- was stuffed after the app and the second app. Glad I didn’t order a meal! Beware when ordering!

This is one of our favourite restaurants anywhere. The food is exceptional and the team is always professorial and attentive. You must eat here, you won’t be disappointed.
We have eaten here often. Tonight one part of my meal was cold and the other was piping hot. Every other time we have been here the food was really delicious. Tonight both my husband and I thought it was good, but not great. Hoping we have better luck next time.

We àre staying in the area and wanted a near by restaurant to celebrate being together 25 years. We picked the Rhubarb and we couldn't have picked better. The restaurant is lovely and we were given a wonderful seat by the window with a view of the water. Theresa our server was excellent...she is a very special person with an engaging disposition. The food is delicious and portions are large. Sadly no room for dessert.....this time.

Whenever I’m in Carnarvon I need to get lunch at Rhubarb. The duck confit poutine is always a favourite.

I usually don't go for IPAs, but theirs was delicious! I had the rainbow trout with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was great! I also tried some escargot which was a surprising positive first experience for me!

Dietary restrictions: If you have a dietary restriction be prepared for steak/salad. If you go to have anything more interesting, "this isn't the restaurant for you", according to the owner. No adaptation for gf Pasta/buns etc. GF Chocolate brownie forgot the chocolate in the recipie. Way too much attitude for me. Otherwise, the uninteresting food was OK... but I did like the frits.

Good food and cozy atmosphere. But for an upscale restaurant (30-40$/dish) with otherwise nice accessories, single ply is not where you should save.
