I rarely return to the same restaurant, I guess just because I like trying new places all the time, but this place is totally worth it. My husband and I went on a weekend getaway around Minded 5-6 years ago, and we went out to Rhubarb for dinner one evening and really loved it. The atmosphere was great, the service and food was excellent. We recently moved to this area and decided to go to this restaurant again and it didn't disappoint. They even let us in before our reserved time. We had a great time.

Great place for an upscale meal in the Haliburton Highlands. Amazing wine selection. Rotating specials. Food was fresh and nicely plated. Service was good but could be more attentive.

Call and book a few days ahead! The dining room looks lovely with a view over water, but we wound up taking a spot in the hot and stuffy front enclosed porch wrapped in plastic with a crappy view of the rising parking lot. Our mistake for booking only 48hrs. ahead (first time so we didn't know the interior layout). The food was fine and cottager-pricey -- pork schnitzel was best. Savvy wine choices. Staff friendly and efficient.
