ANDRESS MENDLER

Went there for Valentine’s Day and orderedthe US Striploin. Although there were issues with the preparation of our steak, our server and the manager (presumably) made a concerted effort to make sure that we were taken care of. The food was tasty (aside from our steak issues) and we felt welcomed and valued. They presented us with a drink offering and dessert offering to compensate for our issues and we greatly appreciated that. Our server was an elder gentleman who seemed to be of south AsianDescent and the other gentleman was Black and wears glasses. 10/10 for these 2!

This is by far one of the WORST restaurant I have ever been to. The General Manger (Black Jamaican Man) must be retrained he has no idea how to deal with his customers. My cousin birthday was ruined thanks to this restaurant. This place is not kids friendly, no kids meal and no where to put a baby car seat, the list goes on……l will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Good food, but expensive. Not at all pleased with policy of adding 18% !!!! gratuity automatically to bill, not leaving choice for guests to choose what is appropriate amount.

Nice ambiance to this restaurant! It felt quiet and private. The sea bass fish was cooked very nicely. The soup of the day lacked a little flavour. The service was ok, I felt like for tone of the restaurant, the service could’ve been more courteous. Overall recommend for a fine dining experience in that’s not in the city!

Went here to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. The staff was courteous and felt as if they were a part of the party. We had a nice area of the restaurant to ourselves. The food was great as well. I was quite impressed with their sides.

We walked into an almost empty restaurant at 7 pm on a Saturday night. The lighting was so dim, that no one could see their menus. We were reading our menus to the light of our phones. The food was a sad disaster, I had the bass that came with a “warm salad” made of fennel, radicchio and olives. It was literally inedible. The duck fat fingerling potato caused my mum to almost throw up at the table, it turned out it was uncooked. The arctic char was over cooked and on and on and on. total? $635! I honestly don’t know where these great reviews are coming from. I wouldn’t pay $100 for this food let alone $635. Never again. Garbage food all around.

Had a wonderful first time experience a couple weeks ago. Leon should be acknowledged for his polite, attentive and professtional service. Everyone at our table agreed that he provided a truly excellent experience. Food was great, cooked perfectly though bone in options weren't available. Loved the added touch, with roasted garlic and fresh lemon in cheese cloth.

By far our favorite steak spot. We are regulars (come at least 3 times a year minimum) and always have a great time and great food. Ask for Moe - our star server. Jimmy the owner also drops by our table to check on everything.Recently tried the A5 Wagyu - melt in your mouth heaven. This is truly our home for steak therapy :)

I had a nice experience there for our birthday but was left a bit disappointed. It was insisted that they pack our takeaway containers for us. We asked if we could do it. They end up doing it and I come home to find they didn’t add the gravy that was in my plate with the container. That’s very disappointing as there were chantrelle mushrooms in the sauce and was left only the chicken with no sauce. That is disappointing for the extra fee we paid for cake and gratuity and the overall price I paid for my dinner I couldn’t even enjoy it at home. That disappointed me cause the food was good. Still a nice restaurant but there’s no way i am letting you guys pack my container again. Or any other restaurant for that matter. But this restaurant was the only one that insisted that anyway which was different. As a suggestion, please don’t insist that anymore. Allow us if we don’t want you guys to do it.

It’s a place to get food, it’s neither good or bad, very bland and average in all aspects. This is not a high end it advertises itself to

The service was good and I love the ambiance! There was only one other table on a Thursday night when we went. I love that it's not very commercialized. We had a few of the starters (I think the dumpling special) and I wasn't really impressed. I really wanted to love the Oysters but they didn't taste great and not a fan of the vinegrettes it comes with but I love that the Oysters come on cold stones rather then messy ice cubes. The complimentary olive bread is impeccable; I'd come here just for that and their Blazon Wine which we ABSOLUTELY LOVED!It comes with the territory but $14 - $20 per side is up there (none of the mains come with sides). I wasn't a fan of the Double Baked Potato. The Maple Brussel Sprouts were pretty good. I wouldn't mind the cost if they were mind blowing. I regrettably got the Tenderloin steak which I never usually order so it wasn't a fair comparison for me to other steaks but it was perfectly cooked and very tender. The meat quality was great. We were also charged for a birthday dessert for the table which I guess I should at expected that this point. I can't remember what it was but it wasn't great which is probably why I don't remember what we had. It was nicely decorated though.Overall, pricey of course - total for 2 people with a bottle of wine ($65), two apps, and sharing a main steak meal with two sides was around $350 + tip. I'd go back but I'd be very selective with how much I order.
