I recently visited A&W for dinner and ordered an Uncle Burger combo for dine-in. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The cashier did not greet me with a smile or a welcoming attitude, and there was a noticeable lack of basic customer service. I didn’t even receive a tray for my meal, nor did they provide the signature root beer mug for my fountain drink.
On a positive note, the food was delicious, which is what I’ve come to expect from A&W. The Uncle Burger was flavorful, and the meal was satisfying. However, the dining experience could be much better if the staff were trained to deliver a friendlier, more attentive service. A little effort on the staff’s part could go a long way in making customers feel valued.

A&W is a great spot for vegetarian burger options! I tried both the Potato Peri Peri Burger and the Masala Veggie Burger, and they were pretty good. It’s fantastic to see more vegetarian choices—keep them coming! Overall, it’s a convenient place for a quick bite, and the 24/7 drive-thru is a big plus.

Together with a group of friends, we are regulars at the Mavis/Matheson location. The customer service is overall good but the cleanliness need to be maintained. We normally sit as a group near the washrooms and observed that on many occasions, there are bugs all over the place. We have provided many feedbacks to the workers but it appears that this has not been addressed.
