Value has gone down. The quality is still good, but at these prices, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. This is what was served to me for $17. A takeout tray with about 1/3rd chicken, potatoes and rice instead of the rice and potatoes filling the big portion with the chicken on top. And more like only a few pieces of potatoes. The salad not even filling halfway the salad area. What a rip-off Adonis has become. They used to also give 2 skewers of chicken with their takeout rice, now it's one skewer for the same price. If you want takeout shawarma plates, go to an actual shawarma restaurant instead and you'll get your money's worth and the salad you pay for.
Good selection of middle eastern food and other items, neat location, on little expensive side though. You can find most of items for less in nearby stores.
Nice place
Stay away from the kitchen. I bought a grilled chicken today and it smelled bad. But they have good cheese and olive selection.
Well stocked and organized
The guys at the fish counter are friendly and great to deal with, the chef who cooked the fish is exceptionally good, he cooked the fish to our liking and also cooked an amazing rice with shrimp dish.
It’s my favourite place for cooked meals.
Their pita bread is excellent, and the cooked food is generally good. Sweets are decent but overpriced, and grocery prices overall are too high. It feels like the store lacks an understanding of how to properly run a Middle Eastern grocery, it's not the same as managing a big chain like Metro or Loblaws. The store is becoming more expensive, and unfortunately, the quality isn't what it used to be. Also, their seafood doesn’t seem to be very fresh.
I purchased a vegetable tray for $16 and was extremely disappointed. The tray did not come with any dipping sauce, and the vegetables were clearly not washed—there was visible dirt on them. The tomatoes were old and spoiled, the carrots had no flavor and were hard as a rock, and the cauliflower was in terrible condition. It looked like it had been cut around the bad spots and then placed back into the tray. Overall, the entire tray was unappetizing and not fresh at all. For the price, I expected much better quality and care.
Very good place for all needs of grocery very well stocked and it is a one stop shop keep up the good work

Fresh meat with reasonable rates.
I love this place calm and everyone is so sweet.i will come back
I trust them with all the products they bring.
The halal chicken and meat are the worst in town. No hygiene and just using the word halal to sell
I had a disappointing experience at Adonis today around 11:20 AM at counter number 2. The cashier, Nahrain, was very unprofessional and lacked basic customer service etiquette. She didn’t greet me with a simple “hello” or “hi”, and didn’t even say “thank you” after completing the transaction. It felt like she didn’t care about the customers at all.
Customer service is an important part of the shopping experience, and unfortunately, this kind of attitude leaves a negative impression. I hope the management addresses this and ensures staff like Nahrain are trained to treat customers with respect and courtesy.
