Came here for a friend's wedding and had a blast. The food was delicious, and everything tasted so fresh. Service was also on point, no complaints there. Our server, Haneen, was fantastic and really took care of us. Highly recommend this place!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointed with Service
I had a very disappointing experience with Afghan Flam Restaurant in Mississauga. I placed and paid in full for a takeout order one day in advance, clearly mentioning the pick-up time as 1:00 PM. When I arrived at the restaurant at the scheduled time, I was told that the food was not ready — in fact, they had forgotten about the order entirely.
This caused a lot of embarrassment as I had guests waiting at home to eat at 1 PM, and I didn’t receive the food until 2 PM, a full hour late. What made the situation worse was the lack of responsibility or apology from the staff. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they acted as if it wasn’t a big deal.
Very poor service and absolutely unprofessional handling of a pre-planned and prepaid order. I will not be returning, and I don’t recommend this place if you value reliability and customer service.

i’m so sad to write this review because the food was actually decent. i ordered uber eats today but myself and my husband got so sick from this food it’s not even funny. food poisoning to the max, throwing up 10 times, passed out twice, i wish this wasn’t the experience because i really wanted to enjoy it but i wanted to let the restaurant know what is going on because this can’t happen again. maybe the food wasn’t fresh. i don’t know but we can’t even keep water down. disappointed

Even Watan Kebob was better than this place, and that’s saying something. The food here was disappointing, overpriced, and the service was just bad. Not worth it.

Had a great experience at Afghan Flame! The food was fresh, flavourful, and served hot. Our server, Yusof, was especially kind and attentive—he made sure we had everything we needed and made the whole visit even better. Highly recommend!
We've been there twice. Food is beyond excellent. Very tasty and cooked to perfection. A real delight ! Service needs improvement. Both times our table was sticky when we arrived. After we asked, it was superficially cleaned - and still sticky. Disgusting. Today I didn't even ask and I cleaned it myself with wipes....
Both times, at least 4 dishes were forgotten and not brought to the table. Today, to set the table, they brought 4 empty plates and 5 sets of cutlery - for 6 guests. There were only 3 tables to serve so I'm not sure why service was so bad. Water was missing on the table and we had to ask repeatedly to get some - while the ladies were chatting together at the desk. Both times, kids couldn't get the apple slices of their menu, they said they were out, and we got orange slices instead. Fortunately my kids like oranges, but some kids don't...
When it was time to pay, we were told that being a family of 6, we'd be charged a service fee. Er, what ? First time we came, we got no information about that. So we have to give a tip and we also have to pay an additional charge ?! When we asked how much it was, answer was " it depends !". "Depends on what ?" No answer except "for you it will be 15%". Based on what ? On if we're black, white, asian, indian or arabic people? On how many kids were at the table ? Maybe on the age of the clients' aunts and uncles, or the waitresses' mood ? No clue.
Basically, the restaurant prefers to serve 3 tables of 2 people, with 3 x more admin tasks, than a table of 6. I don't see the point, as a table of 6 is definitely saving them time, but nevermind. I really didn't appreciate to be informed only when it was time to pay. If prices are 15% more, they have to say it in the menu.
Honestly, I'm not sure I'll go back. It's a pity. Food is exceptional. If you don't mind the service, and the hidden fees, you're going to enjoy.
Hopefully the owner ( a nice guy we met briefly first time we had dinner there), will see this review and fix all that accordingly.
Kid-friendliness: Kids' menu is very nice - when components finally arrive on the table. Be prepared to ask a couple times to get what's included.

We had an amazing experience at this Afghan restaurant! We ordered the Meat Lovers platter and the Lamb Sizzling, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The spices were well-balanced, and the portions were generous. The Lamb Sizzling came out fresh and aromatic, making it a standout dish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly (Nazanin served us and she was really nice). We’ll definitely be coming back for another meal! Highly recommended.
