I've eaten at Ameen's kitchen several times, and I can tell they're the best Nigerian restaurant in Toronto, the atmosphere is calm and their food is 100%.

I went for the buffet and just one word amazing, it was like I was back in nija the taste, the environment everything about it was tantalizing. And the puff puff ooo my God the puff was a match made in heaven for me I have never tasted anything like it even in Nigeria so rich and filling. Let me tell you guys the 50 dollars doesn't even speak justice so amazing. Definitely definitely coming again, with my whole friends this time 😁 hopefully there will have puff on the menu again

First off, went to this location on Sunday thinking it was the place for the buffet. The map was also not very helpful in locating the second restaurant, it is across the road rather than at the spot you'd be routed to, but that's not their fault.

We had driven from Toronto after church with the intention of having buffet, we went to this location thinking it was the place for buffet. However, we were directed to the second location and as one reviewer pointed, it was a mess.

We had to get the overworked server to come clear the table. The plates weren't ready and when it became available, the meals were exhausted.
Hurriedly, the server got some chicken, but by then we had waited for some 20mins or so.

It was no longer worth the wait and we had to leave. Luckily, there was a Suya guy across the road that salvaged the afternoon.

The hype wasn't worth the experience, I simply wouldn't ever visit them again. Going forward, I'll always read the reviews before visiting any restaurant.

Food was not good at all. Chicken really dry and tough. Jollof had no flavour. Really disappointing. Not worth the price due to lack of quality and small portion size.

We called this restaurant before making the trip to confirm if the chef was truly Nigerian, as we know Nigerian chefs cook with passion and take pride in their craft. Unfortunately, the receptionist we spoke with was neither polite nor knowledgeable about the food preparation. Still, since the place came recommended by a friend, we decided to give it a shot.

Upon arrival, we noticed that the food prices posted online didn’t match the prices on the printed menu. To make matters worse, the server seemed inexplicably busy, despite the fact that we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. We placed our order at the cashier counter and then sat at a table, only to wait 40 minutes for two meals—Efo Riro soup and Ewedu soup with swallow.

The Efo Riro was an absolute disaster, served with raw chicken, while the Ewedu soup came with tough, oven-roasted chicken that could easily pass as a sledgehammer. When we brought this to the server’s attention, she offered to replace the meal, but things took a turn for the worse when the rude manager—who might as well have been running a workshop instead of a kitchen—came out. She escalated the situation instead of resolving it and refused to issue an apology or a refund for what was undoubtedly the worst meal we’ve ever had at a Nigerian restaurant in Toronto.

To top it all off, the washroom was a complete mess, as though someone had decided to take a shower there. This entire experience was beyond disappointing. If you decide to dine there just know it's at your own risk, good luck!

Third time my order is canceled on Uber. Don't advertise the item if it's not available or sold out. Very annoying.

The portion was too small for the price, and the food only tasted okay. I spent $50, but the pounded yam was only the size of a golf ball. Delivery included, this was not worth it. I won't be ordering from this place again.
