The food was awesome and so was the service... Mirchi Bhajji was a little too oily , we have had at several other places and feel that there is scope for improvement... Chettinad Paneer, Idli, Vadhaiyaan and Dosas are absolutely amazing ....Great hospitality and Abhishek took great care of us .. Must visit !!

Great experience Abhishek served us very professionally and hard working guy this is our 2nd time and both time he was our server really appreciate his warm customer service skills the food is always amazing here highly recommend restaurant

Slow service. Food taste is not consistent. After one year I visited this restaurant along with my daughter,son in law,my wife my grand daughter yesterday. My grand daughter was hungry. She is just 18 months old and not allowed to eat outside food. We brought home cooked pizza(pure vegetarian). Just in case if the baby asked for food. I am highly diabetic and my glucose level was too low. I too needed food urgently. They created ugly drama. Suddenly the staff rudely told us to stop bringing the food from outside. My son in law explained to him that it's only for a innocent baby. That staff brought all the staff and all of them insulted us. We showed them the baby food. Then they called the owner, according to staff. He was also very unfriendly. They don't care for customers and their sentiments. If they are living in such a beautiful and humble country like Canada,they should shed their arrogance. We never ever faced such insult in Canada. I do not recommend such restaurant,where they do not care about customers. I felt they don't like our dress code of religion. They sent us away without serving food.

Today I am forced to write this review because I am actually hurt after visiting this restaurant.

This is the same place where I got to know my wife is pregnant, I keep visiting this restaurant inspite of people not being happy with the food served here because the service has always been amazing, there were times when we were the only people in the entire restaurant.

However today we visited the same annalakshmi craving for some South Indian food and were looking forward to it, however my daughter ( 1.5 years old now) had not eaten anything and she has dietary restrictions which do not allow her to eat anything from their menu. She was having a vegetarian cheese pizza and the waiter rudely tells us to stop feeding our child, complains to the owner we have got NON-VEG pizza, owner gets on a call and explains me that I am supposed to respect other religions.

I come from Bangalore, India, my best friend is Pranav Sudesh who is a vegetarian so I know how to harmoniously live with people of different beliefs.

Feeding my child is my priority and I was rudely stopped from doing that.

Will not be returning to this restaurant ever , and I am sure the reviews that have been posted for this restaurant aren't genuine and are bought. ( Sorry you have lost a loyal customer)

Super friendly staff who checked in multiple times during the meal and who helped us out a lot when ordering, super patient. Recommended the butter paper dosa MD which was tasty and the veg biryani we ordered was good too. We thought it was a little salty and quite spicy for people who never eat spicy food (not a criticism). Overall a good experience, thank you.

Very reasonable price for the amount of food server. Annalakshmi really has good south indian menu and all taste fantastic. Would recommend anyone trying to taste authentic south indian food.
