Annalakshmi is one of the best South Indian restaurants I have ever been to in Canada.We have been to 2 of their branches - Toronto and Mississauga they are both fantastic but the latter is a tad better. My little one’s favourites there are Gobi 65 and fries. I have tried most of their South Indian dishes,and every single dish is great. I will keep going back because it is the closest in taste to an authentic restaurant back home.

Ever since these guys opened I haven't been to guru laxmi. Once upon a time they used to run monopoly in GTA but there are so many competitors now serving good or better food. Annalaxmi is thoroughly satisfying. Love the food,ambiance and servers. They are very kind and respectful. They explain if you're unaware of any item. Love their filter coffee too. All food is excellent. One suggestion I have is about the 7 mini uttapam is they need to advise the toppings and give the customer a choice. Out of the 7, I liked only 3..the chocolate, cashewnut, mixveg and cheese weren't the best. Felt like these toppings shouldn't be on an uttapam. Regular onion , tomatoes, green chilli, podi are good as toppings or they can ask what the customer would like. That was a alight disappointment but over all food is excellent, my go to place when I miss South Indian food.

Whole staff is very friendly and nice. I went there when the restaurant was closed and I asked them it’s only 2 minutes after, they didn’t say no. Bhagyalakshmi the staff member went right way inside to ask the chef if it’s ok. We eat the food and enjoyed. Food was amazing and tasty. Presentation was great. God bless them ?????

The food was remarkable, the sambar is one of the best I've ever had. We had mysore masala dosa , idli sambar, and tomato soupEverything was piping hot and fresh.The service was impeccable. The servers brought the food when we asked and were present throughout our meal. The restaurant was clean with a great ambiance.I'll definitely be going back.
