One of the best places you can visit in Toronto for authentic Polish food. All the food is delicious and tastes like a homemade meal. The decor and atmosphere make you feel like you're in a "Bar Mleczny" during the 80s. The service wasn't the greatest, and my friends and I felt rushed to order by the ladies working there, which I guess adds to the authentic Polish experience: no formalities, just order your food and eat.

We went there for coffee and it wasn't very good.
The service also was bad no one seated us and when we were waiting in line they were rude when addressing us and kept rolling there eyes at us like we were an inconvenience being there

We were craving Polish food and decided to come here based on the reviews. They were serving hot meals from the counter where you get to choose your options.
Our server seemed to be in a bad mood and looked very disinterested in us. However, she seemed fine with others. While we were ordering, she started talking to her colleagues, ignoring us completely. This happened more than once.
Finally, we ordered a chicken schnitzel meal, fish meal and a pork hamburger along with our favourite salads - sauerkraut, coleslaw and cucumber dill salad. We also ordered a large cappuccino.
The fish was the best pick, followed by chicken schnitzel, though the pieces seemed very small. The pork hamburger was very dry and our son didn’t like it much.
Our server forgot about our coffee order and we had to remind her when we saw others getting their coffee orders. She was unapologetic and didn’t care about us much.
Overall a disappointing experience, in spite of good food. I would never come back to this place and stick to my Polish favourite- Cafe Polonez in Toronto..They are always welcoming and take care to explain the dishes and suggest great options.
It is sad to see such a behaviour by the service staff which ruined our experience completely!! One star rating for giving us a horrible experience.

Hands down , it’s a very good place for a dollar . A downside it - they don’t accept credit cards . Good news - they take American dollars . You would not like the exchange rate ( they shortened me like 5 dollars from the official currency ) but overall this place is amazing . Personal is friendly , it’s clean , good calm music is playing .

Very nice place, felt clean and well taken care of. The place had a comfortable and laid back vibe. Food looked fresh and hearty. I ordered the breaded chicken and fish with the potato dumplings and mushroom sauce. It was great.
