I had a very unpleasant experience at Asia Bakery in Mississauga and felt I should share it so others are aware. When I visited, the front lady was extremely rude and dismissive toward me. Instead of providing good customer service, they made me feel like I was a burden for simply asking about a fresh bread. To make things worse, they even said that if I call them next time, they will just tell me the bread is not available — regardless of whether it actually is.

This type of behavior is not only unprofessional but also highly disrespectful to customers. A bakery, or any business, should treat people with kindness and respect, not push them away with rude comments or threats to withhold service. It is shocking to see such an attitude in a place that relies on community support and customer loyalty.

I will not be going back here, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting. There are many other bakeries in Mississauga that value their customers and provide much better service.

After reading the reviews here, I am not surprised that I am not the only one!!

I hope she learns the lesson before its too late !!!!

Terrible customer service. The staff were rude and clearly lacked proper training. One of them tried to add a 6% surcharge just because I was paying by card, which is completely unacceptable. I walked away rather than waste time arguing. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be taken advantage of.

I ordered two bolani’s from Asia Bakery around 2pm yesterday costing me $16. The woman who prepared them was very kind and greeted me warmly, which I appreciated. The food was meant for my elderly grandmother, who is very sick and blind in both eyes, and who usually enjoys bolani as a comfort food.

However, when I got home, she refused to eat them — they were extremely sour and the gandana filling was clearly not fresh. Concerned, we called the bakery the following day to let them know, hoping for understanding or at least acknowledgment. Unfortunately, the response we received was rude and dismissive. We were told there was “nothing wrong” and that nothing would be done about it.

As an Afghan and someone who drove nearly an hour to support this business, I’m honestly shocked. I’ve never had such a negative experience with an Afghan-owned establishment. Respect and hospitality are pillars of our culture, and this interaction was deeply disappointing.

You’ve lost a loyal customer today, and that genuinely saddens me.

We bought over 30$ of Boloni and none of it was good. it was not made fresh we called and complained and had to throw it out was really disappointing

The front cash lady really uneducated she did not accept what I have complained about her Bolani of April 9 2025 the greens was very old and it has hair inside the Bolani I will add pic too I told her that just to hear a small apology from them yet she did not accept any of my words telling her I’m really disappointed from my own people unbelievable words she utterd to scold me and said don’t ever come anymore at our store !!! Waw

Found this little place while I was shopping for groceries nearby and was so pleasantly surprised! at 6pm there was still fresh bread being baked and the staff was hard at work. Even though they were busy they still took the time to speak to me right away and answer my questions. Quality and taste is GREAT! Will definitely make a note to stop by again next time I'm in the area.
