Of the 10 plus places I've ordered chicken biryani from in Mississauga, I can safely say Awadh serves the best one. I'm sure of it, because the biryani is consistently delicious. The price is lower than most other restaurants, and the portion size is excellent. I would say good enough for two people, but I'm not sharing mine with anybody! This place is seriously underrated!

I've been to this location 3 times. I've had the Dal Makhni, Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken each with Naan.My favorite dish out of them has been the Dal, it had good flavor and consistency, I will order this one again.My least favorite was the Butter chicken, I don't think I'll even finish the dish, it tasted like ketchup with a bit of spices in it. I am surprised by the positive reviews on here for this dish.

Ordered butter chicken it was very oily and tasteless. They had an offer buy 1 get one free on Uber Eats which was never given wonder why publish incorrect info on Uber. It would anyways be a waste as it was not edible at all.

I ordered chicken tikka with garlic and butter naan. Both the naan were stale, and cut into pieces and put inside the aluminum foil. Cold, stale and broken and there was no garlic or butter on the naan. I was given dry, old and stale naan. I ordered off of uber eats. Never again

Weird place. No drinks. Only option is mango lassi and water. Tap water...Lip stains on cups and dirty cutlery. They wash them and ask me if they're clean enough. Cup was fine but cutlery wasn't...Food is ok but takes a looong time.Won't be coming back. Never thought I'd say this but mall food is better...Parking: It's in a plaza so there's a lot of parking especially after food basics closes...

I have traveled all the way from the States to visit my cousin in Canada and was craving for some Indian food. My cousin suggested to me Awadh Indian Restaurant and oh boy I will never regret this decision. What amazing food. Specially the butter chicken that was served was outstanding. My husband being a vegetarian ordered for Dal Makhani which was the best Dal Makhani I have tasted. Special shout out to Avneet for welcoming us so warmly to the restaurant. Highly recommend Awadh Indian Restaurant if you want to try Indian cuisine. I ordered for Butter Chicken, Butter naan and Chicken biryani, all three dishes were outstanding. Got good amount of chicken pieces in the butter chicken and chicken biryani as well. Prices are also very reasonable and affordable. The ambience is top notch.

I will highly recommend don’t order from these people. They are very dishonest and running a business where there’s no food quality and quantity check . Half broken pcs of mutton in one box and the second had 2 pcs with lots of gravy. The fish tikka had salt of almost 2 dishes . Disappointing experience never ever order here . Pathetic and shameful making money with zero ethics .

Short version: Extremely tasty flavourful food with wonderful and kind staff, highly recommended you eat here.Came in on a whim and it had made my day— we ordered the tikka Masala and butter chicken with garlic naan. Incredibly flavourful and the portions were plentiful, pairing the garlic naan with the main dishes made it so tasty! Had a very pleasant kick to the dishes, if you can’t handle heat that well I’d recommend ordering more naan.Our server was extremely kind and accommodating, and recommended one of their desserts which helped cancel out the lingering spice at the of the meal, rounding out our dining experience amazingly.Service here is incredible, the environment is cozy, and the food is absolutely fantastic.Thankful for the great experience!!
