After being loyal customers for over 20 years, we are shocked and disgusted by how far Bao Shin has fallen. We ordered our usual chicken pakora, and what we received was an absolute health hazard. The batter tasted old, stale, and spoiled, like it had been sitting around for days on the counter. It was greasy, rubbery, and completely unfit for consumption. This isn’t just about bad food — this is a serious food safety concern. When we called to report the issue, expecting a basic apology or replacement, Wendy offered a pathetic $5 credit. No accountability. No apology. No offer to remake it. After two decades of supporting this restaurant, that was their idea of “customer service”? Unacceptable. We’re not letting this go. We’ll be reporting this to Health Canada — because if this is what they’re comfortable serving, who knows what else is happening behind the scenes. This goes beyond disappointment — it’s negligence. We will not be returning. If you care about your health or your money, stay far away from Bao Shin. They clearly don’t care about their food, their customers, or basic hygiene standards anymore.

Ordered noodles during lunch time and it was salty. I asked them to change the noodles don't give refund and give only half the portion because I reached there after lunch hours, the lady was so rude. Just didn't change the food because I came after hours. Didn't ask for anything extra instead asked for what I have less quantity. Very bad service.

I normally don't put review even if it is 50% good. This was horrible. Please stay away from this place. Very unhealthy food prepared and no gloves used. Touching body parts and then making food. Very unhygienic conditions. Food tasted like they used expired sauces. Health Canada should be called. Smell was horrible. I think there was rotten vegetables probably there and coolers are not working. I threw the food in the garbage. So please don't waste your money or even go there.

Tried this place based on decent reviews and was craving Manchurian chicken. I wasn’t expecting the dish I got which is their version on Manchurian chicken (red, slightly spicy and kind of sweet). I’m used to the darker, spicier, and hints of ginger and cilanto/coriander which this didn’t have, suffice to say it didn’t satisfy my craving, hence the 3* … but it still tasted good, so not completely disappointed. I may return, but only if I want a potential “surprise” version, and not craving the “usual”.

Great chinese halal food after a long while beef chilli fish chilli fried rice were on point. Authentic taste with great service. Take out and delivery only no dine in service.
Their lunch special is a very good deal. They give big portions for $10 something and a free can of soda/pop. We ordered Chilli Beef and Manchurian Chicken and we loved the food. It’s not a dine in though, just take out only.

It's was bed experience terrible food waste of money my hubby ordered chilly chicken and egg fried rice she prepared ordered in 5 minutes chilly chicken was out of green chilly and green onions and tasteless and egg fried rice was without egg she just peas and carrots and wasn't cooked properly got disappointed I will naver go back.
