Because of one flight cancellation and two delays, I ended up stuck at Pearson Airport for 11 hours and had two meals at Bar 120. This review is about the second one. The beet and goat cheese salad I ordered was huge, delicious, and filling - basically a full meal on its own.
But the best part of my experience was my waitress, Lea. She provided excellent service and is truly a caring person. After hearing about my flight troubles, she covered the cost of my tea and kept me company with a friendly chat. Her compassion and professionalism really helped me get through a tough day.

Zero stars for service (cannot rate the food though since I left even before ordering).
Customer service seems to be absent at this restaurant, at least from the waitress I was interacting with. After some time waiting at the entrance to be assigned a table, the waitress told me to sit anywhere I wanted (I was alone, so I looked around to find a small table but unfortunately, they were all taken, so I went for the only remaining tables (a four-seat table - there were four of those empty tables available).
I understand that a solo customer has less potential revenue than a group of four, and I would never have taken a table of four if there were smaller tables available, or asked for confirmation if it was the only four-seat table remaining…
The waitress then told me I could not sit there and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar (which I did not want to because I needed to do some work at the same time). She then brought me to another table of four, the worst spot available at the very back, slightly outside of the restaurant perimeter near the window where it was very hot and sunny to a point of high discomfort).
Since I was clearly not welcome, I decided to leave for the competition, where I was warmed welcome.
The lady in question was a short, black woman with golden glasses, in case the owner care about performance review.
Having a brief look at the reviews, I have seen very similar experiences from previous visitors. Customers in the airport might be just passing through, but I sure know that word of mouth goes far over time and for frequent fliers like me, they just not lost one meal, but every subsequent meal I would have ordered at this place in the future.
Hopefully they will improve for future customers, thank you for your time.

Absolutely was the best service. From when I sat to I got my meal was around 10-15 minutes. Waitress was very nice. Ordered the meat lovers flat bread. Was delicious! Will be back again.

Had a DELICIOUS gluten free meat lovers' flatbread pizza for supper tonight. Service was great and knowledgeable about celiac and gluten-free dietary needs... And also SO fast! Strongly recommended if you need a tasty and quality GF meal in style at the airport. 👍🏻 👍🏻

Bar 120 Pearson airport. Worse experience ever. 3 people seamed to be working there but no one made an effort to make an eye contact let alone to ask what I need. And when finally I got a chance to get someone's attention who seemed to be the bos, she was drying a plate with a towel and asked me to wait. So I did, but she did not seem to be interested to take my order, and I had to leave. Why would I order from a place that prioritizes drying plates over serving customers?

If you are using Priority Pass, insist on seeing the machine if they tell you there is an 'error' so that you don't lose out.
Priority Pass holders can get a certain amount off their bill when they check in. The staff pretended that the machine to scan the Priority Pass was not working (in hopes of turning us away). We called the Priority Pass helpline and figured out that the staff were simply skipping past the 'enter name' field on the machine to make it look like it was displaying an error message. They seemed sheepish when we called him out and did not apologise. Seemed shady. I appreciate they may not want Priority Pass holders (perhaps some don't tip?), but this is for them to sort out with their head office - not to take out on clientele.
Otherwise, had a lovely couple of glasses of prosecco bbefore my flight. Things are overpriced but as anything would be in terms of an airport terminal.

Love the beet & goat cheese salad. Add some grilled chicken on it & it is delicious! I think it's the best beet & goat cheese salad that I've had. Definitely recommend checking them out, I'm sure all their food is good! Service is great too!!
