I roast my own coffee at home. I own my own machine, but when I'm lazy, I like to try to support local roasters, and try their coffee... Just a precursor to show I know what I taste, and after 8 years of roasting (somewhere in the 200 pounds of coffee) I know what is what.
The people are so nice, but after trying to convince me that roasted coffee stays good for 9 months after being roasted, I think that should have been my first clue to walk away.
