REALLY EXPENSIVE. Decent food but not mind-blowing. Food is made for North American tastes. Vindaloo not spicy despite specifically asking for very spicy and extra sour. Really not worth the inflated price ($7+tax for one kulcha! 1/2 oz of pickle same price as an entire jar!). Do yourself a favour and find another spot that is more authentic and affordable. Or go out to a full service restaurant - it would have been the same price and better food if we went out.

As someone who is not indian maybe I don't have as much expertise in quality and taste for indian food, but ive always enjoyed the butter chicken. we order the canadian style as we dont like it too spicy. One complaint is that the amount of chicken you get compared to the amount of sauce is kind of measly. Theres maybe like one chicken small breast of chicken cubed in the whole container, and its loaded with sauce. I would say it is probably one of the more affordable options in the area for indian food, and while i havent tried any of the other menu items besides the butter chicken, if you want to spend a little less for indian food then it is a decent budget friendly restaurant. ive never had complaints about the service or time to prepare the food. I was told the order would be ready in 15 minutes and i got there in 10 minutes and the food was just finished being packed up. It appears to me that this place is more of a fast food type indian restaurant, where you can expect to get decent tasting food for cheap, if that is what you are looking for!

Super disappointed :( I used to go to the dundas location and loved my meal every time. I usually got the butter chicken and tikka masala and it was perfect! I’m not sure what changed about this location but it’s honestly gone down hill.

I ordered half tikka half butter chicken canadian style and i was so disappointed. I asked the kid on the phone if it came with rice and he had said yes. I get home come to find out there is no rice in the bag. I called to ask about it and they had said they had recently changed that the half portions don’t come with rice which is fine but it was frustrating to figure out that once I got home. Although considering it was $30 for 2 half portions with garlic naan it should have came with rice….

The butter chicken was sooo sweet and the tikka masala tasted like i had just opened a can of tomato puree, not stewed down at all. The chicken in both dishes were dry and small. The service was nice but the quality and taste of the food was definitely lacking.

First time in and was received poorly from the worker with tattoos. He saw me enter, turned his back to me, and ignored me for two mins. He was not welcoming or professional in speaking but abrupt and uninterested. When I asked for a price, he pointed to a sign (that I couldn't read due to my weaker eyesight) instead of responding to me like a person. There were other customers waiting who he spoke to cheerily but they were not visibly Muslim like me- so I suppose this restaurant isn't for everyone. The halwa was also dry and artificial tasting- as if it were frozen first. I won't be coming back.
